3gumi headcanons part 1
starting off the blog with our favourite group! just some separate hcs about the boys.
SABURO
He really wanted to be student council president at the end of middle school! Saburo swears he deserves it more than anyone. Even though he has the grades, he doesn’t participate much in school gatherings and is pretty unpopular... so there’s no way he would’ve won. He told Ichiro and Jiro that he had ‘second thoughts’ about running, rather than admitting that he wasn’t chosen.
Saburo swore that sports weren’t that important at school. That was until he saw that Jiro was doing way too amazingly at them. Maybe Saburo wants the same praise that his brother’s receiving too. Saburo worked his way up in tennis, but he leaves much to be desired in team sports. Maybe one day someone will pick him for basketball, but right now his classmates see him as too much of a jerk to even pass.
He’s very well aware of how he’s seen by others so he tries not to talk as much online. Saburo’s best friends are all people he’s met playing online with. He can be quite a good listener when it comes to their problems, but he doesn’t always have the best solutions. He also needs to stop offering to buy them skins in game to cheer them up, even if he’s got more than enough money from stocks... though, he’s told people that it’s just that he’s got a good part time job.
DICE
Not only is Dice a cat magnet, but this goes for literally every animal - just not in the way he wants. Of course he wants to go pet the dogs, but they keep rushing him with such a force that he gets knocked over. Yes, he loves seeing them run to him, but he’s got a fair amount of bruises from how much those doggies love him!
Dice is loved by the neighborhood grannies. He’s always helping them cross the streets, get to where they need to be and carrying stuff for them. He gets the ‘you remind me of my grandson’ line almost every week at this point. Plus, they always give him candies from their purses when he’s helped out.
Something that Dice really loves to show off is his skill in cooking. He knows his way around a stove so Ramuda and Gentaro never worry about what they’re eating when he stays over. Maybe he just wants to make whatever’s the most filling for him, but his teammates swear they’ve never had a bad meal from him. Though, they’re still hesitant, thinking that maybe Busujima had a part in teaching him how to cook with certain ingredients.
HITOYA
He’s ended up with a collection of tacky (tackier) ties thanks to Jyushi and Kuko. No matter what, Hitoya will wear them because they’re a gift and he wants to be grateful - even if he does initially complain about how awfully they look. Kuko’s favourite is that kitten patterned tie while Jyushi swears Hitoya looks cooler in a bowtie. He isn’t the best at gift giving back so he just takes them out to eat.
Hitoya can be pretty sentimental, though he won’t admit it. He still keeps in contact with all his friends from highschool, even if it is just a birthday or holiday greeting online. He’s kept a photo album of the good times with his friends, but he’d never admit to them that he thinks about them this much.
Perhaps that fashion sense is him desperately trying to cling to his youth. Of course, he doesn’t see 35 as a bad age, but looking at the next decade has given him way too much grief. It doesn’t help that Kuko keeps on calling him ‘the old man’ behind his back, just like his dad. Hitoya swears that this was the look that all the cool kids rocked in his day... but really it’s just what he’s felt most comfortable in for years now.
