So this weekend, I got a chance to go to the biggest Jazz event in Jakarta which is Java Jazz Festival 2015 (more fun is available at http://edaandjulia.tumblr.com), and me being myself, always want to remember the first encounter of the musician that I met that night.

It was Friday night at the intimate Java Jazz Coffee stage when Julia & I, felt very happy to see people chattering, taking pictures, and did a little dance while listening to this performing trio called Biel Ballester Trio, I believe the jazz number that we heard the first time that night was 'Take The 'A' Train', and this track that will take you straight to Tibidabo, Spain go way back from the year 2012 and if you listen to it carefully, there's a bit of The Beatles' - While My Guitar Gently Weeps notation in there.

Wow! What did I miss… So Dianne Reeves won Best Jazz Vocal Album on Grammy this year, and this album has been out there for what… a year?! Unbelievable.

I’m lovin every part of the vibe of this song, it’s like taking a nice cool bath on a saturday morning, and knowing that you’ll be a brand new you again for the days to come.

There are things we know we can’t control, and at its essence about life, I know you’ll agree with Reeves that life is beautiful and we wanted to celebrate that which is too often overlooked.

That Truman Show pick up line just hit me right before I'm writing this post for ya... Well anyways, back again with Eda on Jazzy Sunday, Valentine's comin and I hope ya'll ready for it... but seriously... You are, right?! *giggle*

I believe there's a song for every occasion, and this song is a sweet sweet song to make sweet sweet dreams with your lover that you wanna build a family with. The interesting part is, it's kind of an accidentally-in-love kinda thing, that I happened to listen to this song, while I was having lunch with my family.

So, I don't know where you'll be when you clicked play to this fine tune right here, but what I know is that, you'll always find the word 'home' in 'family'.

Greetings, Jazz Cats!

It is the first evening of February 2015, and I'm super excited to tell ya, that I've been Bublé-d, by all means that I came to the Bublé show last thursday, and it was a BEAUTIFUL DAY!

For me, a good concert, or as Bublé said himself, a good PARTY (because concerts are boring. D'oh!), means that the gig is held in a cool place, the foods are unique, numbered seats for bonus, and most of all, the show starts on time.

I must say that as a performer, Bublé is a complete package, he dance, he entertain, he's a sweet talker, and a bit sarcastic joker at the same time, he even got his own TEAM Bublé for the win.

Now, this clip, I've seen about 9 years ago, last year I was honoured to sing it for a sweet couple on their wedding entrance, it is one of my many all-time favorite Bublé. Click it, make it last, and LET'S SWING IT... That's all!

I know it's late, but it's important to know that her new album is coming to town on February 3, 2015.

Can't wait to listen to her highly anticipated collabo cover of Alone Again (Naturally) alongside Michael Bublé.

This one right here, I've known since 2004 from Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason soundtrack, then ten years later, it appeared on Guardians Of The Galaxy original soundtrack. Funny how time flies in a blink of an eye, so let's take it slow by clicking this track before you go to sleep, shall we?

From where I came from, we got a very very, I mean like very bad traffic. So, I had this unique ritual of bringing 10 albums with me into the car that I would listen to whenever the traffic’s gone mad.

I had this album from like 2 years ago, but it kinda speaks to me again, especially this track number 6 from the album.

Yes, I know life is tough sometimes, but Sade will always teach us to love again.
