btw you may have noticed me trawling your furry bullshit tag recently. i didnt find any kalium images there despite being what i was looking for. is that a different tag or what
there is basically zero art of my current fursona that isn't like. pencil scratches in a notebook I used in university. I should really commission some. I think there's a sketch of her talking about Emacs somewhere in there, it was a while ago. It's pretty much that and the avatar.
UPD8 here's that Emacs post.
Frank, you know about the White Gilgamesh, a beverage made from mixing beer and goat milk, right? How do you think it would taste?
No, but I am a sucker for drinks which sound gross and probably are gross, like Sappho, so:
"The white-coloured and cloudy Gilgamesh is a refreshing and invigorating drink. Do you want to drink it?"
If you're wondering what "Gilgamesh" means, the name is not a reference to the mythical Sumerian king; rather, it's a generic name used by some goat breeders, chosen specifically because it's a great-sounding name (although the beverage probably won't help you live forever).
would you say that the sawback is kinda useless? because it seems to me like it wouldn't really be a good idea
I think that like most swords on a 19th century battlefield, they would have been a last resort. They were probably adequate for last-minute work needed in the field when a pioneer might not have purpose-built tools with him. The saw edge is quite sharp on my British P1856.
hey is GPT like, a markov chain thing?
What do you mean by that?
Like, formally the answer is “no,” because it can look at all previous tokens in the window while predicting the next token.
Although you can trollishly reformulate anything as a Markov chain if you let its “current state” include a copy of its entire history. This is clearly not always appropriate or else it would render the phrase “Markov chain” useless, but it might be conceptually appropriate in the case of GPT, since GPT has a “window” of fixed size. You can think of its state at any point as the entire window, which has a fixed size (1024 or 2048 tokens), with some of it usually empty.
But I’m not sure that answers your question...
okay i know that was a 2018 post but you misunderstood the meaning of the dictatorship of the proletariat and i am a tad peeved
I misunderstood this terrible concept that no one can clearly explain huh
gravity and quantum mechanics working together in a reasonable way isnt even canon yet why would we have proven parallel universes
science just be like: we learned one think and unlearned 100 more what is even going on
mach 2 is not that uncommon for bullets
not when it weighs 200 grams! That's a muzzle energy of 52 kilojoules! You can isekai someone with that thing.
