The tragedy of Oliver Queen is he never understood the way Felicity loves him. He always believed Felicity would leave if she knew the truth. Oliver was wrong. The truth is what makes her stay.

It’s a double standard that comes from a good place on Oliver and Diggle’s part, but is patronizing as hell and kind of sexist.

Jen and Calli spend the 20th episode of their podcast discussing last night's Arrow. What worked, what didn't, when will Curtis die? Is Oliver Jesus? And more. A lot more. They had a lot to say, apparently.

HVFF Nashville is here!
Whew! The con starts tomorrow and I've already had an awesome time. Three years ago when @jbuffyangel Jen's blog got me hooked into the Arrow / Olicity fandom, it NEVER would have occurred to me that I would be picking her up from the airport one day. Thanks to our mutual friendship with our Aussie pen pal Lou @louiseblue1 , Jen and I started working together two years ago. I have the honor of being her beta reader / editor for her fan fics. When Melissa Benoist announced she was going to be at HVFF Nashville, Jen decided to bring her lovely daughter for a mother/daughter trip to Nashville. I live about 30 minutes from Nashville & already had my con tickets. In fact I jumped at the Buy-1-Get-3-Free offer given back in November. My whole family -- hubby, twin teenage sons & 8-year-old daughter -- are going for both days for only $75, total! So when Jen decided to come to Nashville as well, I was elated! I've had dozens of long-distance internet friends, some going back as long as 20 years. This is the first time, however, that I've actually met one in real life. Weird, but true. For all those wondering, Jen is as lively, vivacious and full of information as you can probably imagine from her online presence. I'm blessed to call her my friend! We had good food, good laughs and our daughters really hit it off too. Jen probably learned more than she ever wanted to know about the history and landmarks of Nashville but I had a blast showing off my town. I love playing tour guide. Getting to know Jen better while doing it made it even sweeter. Can't wait for the con to start tomorrow!!! Since I'm posting from the app tonight, I can't figure out how to include pictures in this text post. Today's pictures will be in the next post.
