jumping in on that jc!wwx, so what are you ideas for jc recognizing that it's wwx?

ahhhh it depends on how we want the plot to go lol but im going with the original idea that JC gets baby!wwx from the village he saved and lmao we got choices -

option 1: let’s go with the cliched (yet stuff im always weak for anyway) he recognizes the bright twinkle in the baby’s eyes bc that’s exactly the same one WWX wore before sunshot campaign, before lotus pier burned, before when he still had a brother

option 2: the golden core inside JC pulses as it recognizes its original owner and JC wonders about that reaction so he observes the baby very closely and it’s a longer time for him to figure it out through accumulative ticks he recognizes from WWX (the grin, the eyes, the propensity for trouble, the deference to spicy food, and did that kid seriously just hide a jar of emperor’s smile???) - and at first he’s in denial bc bruh no until either something big happens (he sees how easy resentful energy converges for the kid) or something small yet impactful occurs (JC brooding in tears alone as one of those nights where he remembers the past and baby!wwx curls up to him and he just sags and admits ‘defeat’ that fck...yeah...this was the original half of the twin prides of yunmeng)

There’s something I was always curious about, what would happen if WWX reincarnated and JC got his hands on a baby WWX?

- im torn between JC identifying baby!WWX from another person OR having baby!WWX be JC’s own child (sect leader duties y’all and this means longer waiting time for LWJ! hahaha)- imma go with the first idea for the mean time, so for some reason JC’s stuck in some village for a night hunt bc there’s been a disturbing amount of resentful energy and corpses and monsters alike around it; anyway he goes there only to find that the villagers and all are massacred by these demonic entities already- except he hears a scream and he rushes inside a hidden hut or smth and finds a mother who has just given birth and apparently the entire village tried hiding her (bc you know village family feels) but the monsters have found her so JC finishes them all off and was about to rush said mother to a doctor when they both realize it’s too late and so the woman makes JC promise that he’d take care of her newborn baby and JC agrees - JC takes the baby and at first he doesn’t know bc c’mon all babies look like some ugly prune at first hahaha but then he does (gosh i have 3-5 ideas on how he’ll figure it out lmao i cant pick so imma leave this off for now)- so there’s a lot of angst on JC bc on one hand, this was the same person whom he’s had intense mix emotions for so long and on the other, hey! his brother’s back!- OKAY BUT DO YOU WANT WWX TO BE AROUND JL’S AGE OR WWX REINCARNATION IS AFTER 13 YEARS??? - either way, JC + baby!WWX bonding and you bet your ass WWX is gonna be a “difficult baby” who’s all over the place doing all sorts of things making JC’s blood pressure rise but then again what’s new- “where is that ba - OI! GET DOWN FROM THE TABLE!” “bah-bah” “bah-bah my ass! get down right now young man!” *giggles* “im not joking!” - he def doesn’t want anyone knowing of this secret bc for him, this is a second chance specifically for them and their family and he well he does keep the “ying” name for WWX but baby!WWX is officially adopted to yunmeng jiang hence he’s now jiang ying- okay but imagine him having to give WWX’s courtesy name and JC goes off tangent of all these very feminine and flowery names aka typical JC style and WWX just cuts him off with “wuxian! im gonna be jiang wuxian!” and at first JC is so vehement in rejecting it bc that name identification is screaming for trouble- but it’s WWX and JC doesn’t know if he can handle calling him by another name (later, it will be revealed that WWX chose it bc of all the times JC kept slipping with the ‘wei wuxian’ name) - ahhhh but then WWX’s gotta get sent off to cloud recesses!!! this could go two ways again with option 1 JC rejecting the invites and tradition and keeps WWX in lotus pier bc nope none of those righteous lans who’ll def capture his brother/kid when they find out or option 2 JC does give in and sends WWX there

YO I LOVE THIS CONCEPT????? im so tempted to write this!! i haven’t felt the dire need to let my hands slip since sleeping!au hahaha THIS IS AMAZING PROMPT!!!!! <3

Alternatively. NHS picks up a baby who later grows up to look, act and have fragmented memories of WWX. WWX's reincarnation is told to hide his face, wear his hair differently and to not leave the sect for cloud recesses. NHS is conflicted between trying to get WWX's memory back at the risk of harming and even losing the kid in favour of just WWX's memories. During a discussion conference WWX sneaks around and meets JL. The two fight and WWX's mask falls off. JC sees his face.

+ NHS being the one to get baby!WWX instead is also interesting! I’ve always loved the cloud recesses trio and seeing the possible NHS-WWX dynamic is a good one!

+ the whole jc!wwx au has all the humor potential with a growing up WWX but ahhh the smell of angst once he’s older and has to face more than JC and JC seeing the same features of his once-brother hnnnngggg im trash for WWX and JL’s relationship either way so it’s gonna be developed haha

Damn I wanna see me a Dad!JC to WWX. Never knew i needed it until now. The Jin!WWX is a killer but Jiang!WWX? Where he reincarnates as the true heir of YunmengJiang? Yep. Maybe hes even just a little bit younger than JL. Maybe five years younger or something. And he sisnt supposed to be in all the dangerous places hes in like Dafan but he keeps sneaking out cause he misses his dad!jc and cousin!jl. Maybe his mom died in childbirth, and JC realizes that its wwx early on and angst and hilarity go.
