Dark Chi Enforcers….Dark Chi Enforcers…
Haven't done a screencap edit in a hot minute.
This is dedicated to @atlas-affogato and their [most likely true] headcanon that Finn is a heavy smoker.
It does look right for him to be holding a cigarette.
Beloved fandoms never die. Thinking once more about my dumb bbs and their adventures post-show. I know the likelihood of actually *writing* my season 6 fanfic is abysmally low, but a girl can dream (and draw).
Everyone wore the same clothes for 5 seasons so I decided it was time for a redesign; their new kind-of-good-guys-kind-of-not civvies. This is some certified 2005 (and 1975) fashion right here.

Day 15 – Funniest moment
Theres so many good moments in the show, its impossible to pick just one. Most of my favorites are with the enforcers since they are just sooo goofy and silly. Everything they do is hilarious. Rallying votes to not have to go to space, using a giant laser in section 13 and then just shrugging it off and walking away when it doesn't work, thinking they're invisible and trying to attack Daolon Wong, failing one too many times and going crawling to the Chan's to beg to be let off the hook and proceeding to be the most cringe best gay uncles in the world and doing the Charlie's Angels poses with Jade. Its all so great
posting here by the way the answer on random day from jca ask. the question was to draw a character as a cracked gem from the anime "houseki no kuni"
Rated: G
Pairing: Chow/Finn/Ratso/Tohru/Valmont
Word Count: ~500
A/N: Day one for @polyshipweek using prompts 'team as polycule' and "Is that my hoodie?"!
A lot of strange things happen around the Dark Hand. Personally, Tohru would like to blame the demon-dragon living in Valmont’s office. But strange things happened before then, as well. Really, he figures it’s more a consequence of who they all are as people and the Enforcer’s desire to knick shiny things mixed with Valmont’s desire to be rich. He can’t say it hasn’t worked out well for them so far.
Besides the point, though.
Tohru can’t find his hoodie. At first glance, this may not seem very strange. But for Tohru, who is cold and swears he recently saw it, it is. The last place he put it was the entryway to the penthouse. It was simply good manners to hang it with the rest of the jackets. Without it being there, he checks the closet, the living room- though he knows it’s not there, since he was just in there reading-, and even the kitchen. Yet he finds it nowhere. It’s not a very easy hoodie to lose, being a quadruple X, but he’s seemed to manage it anyway as he goes through the rest of the penthouse, even the bedroom.
Finally, Tohru just concedes and returns to the bedroom for a blanket. His hoodie would’ve been preferred, it’s easier to read with sleeves, but at least it’ll keep him warm. He grabs one of the blankets from the bed and wraps it around his shoulders.
When he returns to the living room, the clouds have opened and are snowing upon the city. Up here, it always looks beautiful. Delicate snowflakes falling in a dance. Or, as is now, a heavy waltz. The reported snowstorm is finally happening. Tohru smiles to himself, holding the blanket tighter, and turns to the four heads he can just see over the back of the couch.
He rounds the couch to join them and stops when he sees Ratso curled into his own blanket, against Finn who is inside dark green cloth along with Chow and Valmont. Chow is tucked between them, likely because he’s the shortest of the group. Tohru blinks. “Is that my hoodie?”
“Yes,” Valmont says, unashamed, looking from the window to him. “It’s quite warm.”
Ratso makes a noise, pouting. Apparently he was unable to fit. Tohru frowns himself.
“I was looking for that,” Tohru says, more resigned than anything. The three of them look comfortable, curled into his hoodie. He won’t deny them it. Really, any annoyance he might feel stems solely from how much he searched.
“We found it in the closet,” Chow says. Which is not where Tohru thought he’d left it. Valmont must’ve put it away yesterday.
With his boyfriends deciding to join and the falling snow, Tohru moves to start a fire in the penthouse’s fireplace. The fireplace is one of the reasons Valmont moved them to this building, as well as picking the top floor. Ratso walks away as he works on getting the fire to a nice blaze and the sounds of putting in the kitchen reach them before Ratso returns with a tray of hot chocolate and tea and popcorn for whatever movie they will watch as Tohru reads and Valmont works one-handed on a crossword puzzle. Tohru smiles down at his book when he cracks it back open.
Be a woman in Jackie Chan Adventures, you're either:
Super cool character who's only in one episode and never talked about again (Amber, Vanessa Barone, even though she made a cameo in another episode but she wasn't as prominent so I don't count it, Portia Martindale, Miss Kimber, Sumo Girl etc etc.)
Prominent for a few episodes then slowly gets pushed more and more to the background and loses all character and purpose (Viper, Miss Hartman).
Get dumbed down to being nothing but a love interest to one of the main characters (once again Viper).
Can't be a grown woman (as much as I love Jade, Viper needed more focus and storyline).
Sexist stereotype (Tohru's mother).
Can't be a Dark Hand enforcer (I still have no idea why they never employed one, Viper needs someone to beef with like come on)
Butt of every fat joke (Po Kong)
Women were constantly getting robbed in that show, either they were overshadowed by the men, not focused on enough or just there for background noise.
I know this technically isn't a "girl's" show but come on, the show treated women like they were such an alien concept, I want more women outside of just Jade and Viper.
Like doesn't Viper have any female friends outside of the J-Team, who are they? What are they like? Do they know about her work?
Jackie had a female friends named Amber, she was only in one episode but she was still very interesting to me with the little time she had onscreen.
Like I want to know more about her, what is her and Jackie's relationship, how did they meet, what does she do outside of work?
I would've liked to see her pair up with the J-Team in an episode but nah f**king around with El Toro and El Toro's #1 d**krider is obviously more important.
Seriously, as much as they tried to make El Toro interesting him and Paco just came off as annoying and unnecessary.
The fact that both of them have more episodes than Viper put together is evident of blatant favoritism in the writing room.
Why didn't they ever give the Dark Hand a female enforcer? Was Valmont sexist or something?
If Shendu had a son then who's the mother? What happened to her? Where is she? And do the other demons have offspring too?
Why were there no female Oni generals?
What would a female Dark Chi warrior look like?
Give me something dammit.
