She didn’t understand her uncle’s particular reluctance to even acknowledge him --- but everything he was saying sounded crazy. “ My father ?  A jedi ?  No, no ! That’s absolutely insane. Why would my aunt and uncle lie to me ? He was a navigator. ”

         ❛    come  on ,   ❜        the  corner  of  her   lip  tugged   upwards  ,    the  ever  so  classic   smirk   of   her’s  makes  an   appearance   !     ❛     it’ll   be  fun  .   ❜       though   she  knows  better  ,    missions  like  this   for  a  jedi  ,   ---------   they  were  quite   often   the  opposite  .    /    yet  ,    a  thrillseeker   at   heart   ,      she    never   refuses   adventure  .

ron               was               cross-legged                as               his               blue               eyes                shut                ,               fingers               grasping               the                lightsaber.                 that                pull               ,               that                all               but               familiar                sense               that               made                him               quickly               opened               his               eyes                to               see                a               blue                aura.                 was                this               him               ?                  ❝                                          grandfather                    ?                    ❞

     THE JEDI TEMPLE FELT ALMOST FOREIGN as the jedi moved through the halls, dark eyes taking in the warm brown shade of the walls and the intricate architecture of the pillars. back on kamino, everything felt so cold and bland ; the white walls sometimes made the togrutans stomach churn and long for a warm sun. she would cherish her time here on coruscant for the time being and revel in the warmth of the temple. 

     she moved to the meditation chambers, craving the darkness and peace that the rooms held. shaak ti wasn’t even thinking anyone was there, believing all jedis to be out on the front line. the door hissed open and the woman froze short, eyes resting on a familiar face.  “ master kenobi, i apologize for intruding. ”

       ☆            golden green eyes dampen as the young jedi stares down at her lightsaber. proud of herself she may be, she knows she hasn’t even begun to complete her training. in her darkest moments self-doubt creeps in and eats away at her soul. elegant fingers clutch the metallic hilt and she takes in a deep breath, holding it for a moment before she exhales softly and slowly, brow creasing as she forces her emotions to be brought in-check, staying herself instead of allowing frustration to overtake her. ( she’s gotten so much better, but the temper wavers sometimes. )

             “ i don’t feel it. ” she hisses, lifting her gaze to the wizened man and pursing her lips in a bit of a pout. “ it’s ridiculous. strength and wisdom and soul. how is a single person --- a single me --- supposed to encompass all that and more? it’s a lifetime journey and i swore to take it, but some days --- augh. ” rey huffs, strands of brown hair breezing out of her eyes. “ frustrating. ”
