Yanagi "Willow" Saito was an interesting woman who came into the book shop Jackson worked at, asking him multiple questions about rugby of all things. He was lucky that he had some knowledge of the sport, his Ma and Nana were big on the sport and of course he was there to hear all about it. When he asked her why the interest in the sport the third time she came to visit, she explained that someone she was interested in played it and she wanted to know more about it to keep up with what they were saying.

Yana was also genuinely interested in wanting to play the sport herself.

She's a talent agent for a multi-talent agency, well-known in the business as the ultimate hype-woman and advocate for her clientele. As a child she was always eager to learn new things and the more interested she was in something, the more she talked about it with other people who were charmed by her passionate ramblings. It took her some time to figure out how to direct that energy into a career, as more conventional jobs couldn't keep her attention for long, but she was quite happy to be able to find a way to put was what first seen as an annoyance into something that helped lift others up.

It was a girl that he had been talking to around the end of high school. It's not that he had the worst time with her, but the worst overall experience from start to finish. He was hoping that they were going to actually date, since they fooled around like sending each other nudes and small videos to her asking him to finger her in the middle of class even though he told her that it made him uncomfortable doing so. They never officially dated because she kept stringing him along and it was hell on wheel's for him when she broke it off between them and started dating someone else a week later.
