The android’s eyes flutter open. For a lingering moment, it blinks blearily and peers around, nailing a perfect imitation of a sleep-addled man who has only just woke up from a deep, late morning slumber. The ring embedded into its right temple flickers a gentle yellow as it spins around, wonder etched into its silicone face as it soaks in its new surroundings.
This is home.
“Hello, world,” are its first words, mirth laced into every syllable. The android spins on its heels, visual HUD zeroing in on the stranger that stands before it. A human being! Wide eyes, brimming with unspoken hollowness and tales of a mysterious past, dense dark hair, an impossibly sharp, angular jaw. “Wow,” it says in a needless exhale, artificial awe filling its gaze. “Are you my registered owner? I can’t be that lucky.”
▸ STILL NEW TO the detroit police department, many of the humans in the building were still unknown. yes, he’d done scans of everyone, but he lacks person - to - android connection. this was unnecessary, all that mattered was the completion of his mission, but he still found it a vital part of his mission to at least be friendly with the other officers. “ excuse me, have you seen lieutenant anderson ? “

While Anais was certainly an adult now - there could be no disputing that - the ability to make choices for herself - to make her own decisions - was still held firmly by her father. As her parent, her agent and her manager - everything needed to be run past him first.
And in some ways - hyperbolic as it might sound - it almost felt like the stars had aligned to allow her to be here. A post-movie-premiere-party was not exactly his scene and whereas the year before, he almost certainly would have refused to let her go alone - following the collapse caused by ‘exhaustion’ he was allowing her some limited freedom - a chance to have some fun, to blow off some steam. A little more carrot, a little less stick.
And the fact that the party was being held at the directors home didn’t hurt.
She can perceptibly feel whatever he’d given her to keep her sparkle going under the cameras starting to wear off (which is almost comforting - sitting still during the movie had been torturous) but the glass of champagne she’s snagged without his watchful eye to disapprove and the simple freedom of not being around him (even if, of course, she isn’t totally free range right now) is keeping her bubbly enough.
Winding her way through the people, careful to avoid one of her co-stars who had clearly had more than one glass of champagne and was currently holding court to a small crowd and would likely only impede her were she spotted - she headed upstairs - seeking the bathroom, emerging not long after.
It’s not exactly eerily quiet - the noise of the party is rising easily to fill the space above it - but the hallway, as she heads back does seem oddly empty - like everyone has grouped downstairs together for safety and she, a lone wanderer, is likely to get picked off by some wild beast, separated from the herd.
"Can I kiss you?"

Chester takes a moment to consider. They’d grown closer in the past days, weeks, months and to say there was nothing would be a lie. Still, the question comes as a bit of a surprise to him. He’s taken aback, hesitant, as he watches the other’s expectant eyes.
Somehow this feels off. Aren’t they skipping a few steps here? Sure, his research is limited to what the internet provides, but he’s still sure kisses aren’t at the top of the list.
He doesn’t know how to.
“I don’t–” His cheeks grow darker, as do the tips of his ears, tinted with blush as he tries to explain that Cyberlife’s most advanced android doesn’t know anything about intimacy.
“Yes, you may. I just–” He struggles still. The struggle might already give away the problem but still he wants to explain, doesn’t just want the other to have to guess. “I haven’t been programmed with the needed knowledge.”

Kyle was now cursing himself for having planned this blasted road trip. His car broke down at perhaps one of the worst of times. He was just fortunate that he found some shelter in the cold. Still, he was of mood. His phone didn't work and he was stuck in a creepy cabin with a bunch of teenagers. Surely, it couldn't get much worse.
He was sitting in a chair in the dark when Josh appeared and looked over, giving sigh, "Evening." he murmured.

What made you decide to roleplay this muse?
Okay, so, funny story; so I was watching Jack Septic Eye’s play-through - and admittedly I’ve never watched him once in my life - and I ended up really wanting to play this game. But beyond that, it all sort of triggered an instant connection to the goofy little shit. I’m sure it’s similar to how everyone feels about Connor but as I started playing the game myself - and at this point I was resisting making another muse at all because I have 25+ that are getting ignored - the muse just developed and finally I couldn’t resist making a blog. I started writing and he developed more, then suddenly the RK900 came along and a rather different version than most others were playing him came into being. Through more development he named himself and it just went on from there.
Would you get along with your muse?
Oh, most definitely I would get along with both of them. I can’t say I wouldn’t dumb one of them in a trash bin every now and then but it’s all in love.
Your muse’s theme song.
I mean, Connor already has his own theme music but in terms of a non-canon theme song, for both my muses I would actually have to say the whole damn original soundtrack from Blade Runner, especially the ending credits theme. There are just so many moods encapsulated in the music and its clear that if you listen carefully Connor’s soundtrack has had some inspiration from Vangelis’ work.
