A little gift for @vicekings! I meant to write some JDilia for OC Week, but life happened, and then vacation happened, so I’m only just now getting to it. Oops! Hope you enjoy this, love! 💖
"You look so handsome." Truer words had never been spoken. JD looked gorgeous. Then again, he always looked gorgeous, and St. Cecilia made a point of telling him so as often as she could. He deserved that, and more, and everything. And the suit he was wearing, dark and well-tailored, made him look even more handsome than usual.
"Little old me?" JD sat on the edge of their shared bed, carefully undoing his cufflinks. They had been a git from her, little squares of gold with big, shiny emeralds in the centers. They were probably worth more than everything else he owned put together. "You should look at yourself, Ceels." Their eyes met through the mirror, blue on gold. "You look like a princess."
St. Cecilia scoffed, though the sound was gentle, more amused than annoyed. "I should hope so," she said. She approached him, resting her hands on her shoulders. She was so tiny that he could bury his face in her tits from this angle, and he did, mouthing at the No Time For Antivenom tattoo on her breastbone. Her dress had a plunging neckline that had left it visible all night, and he had been fighting down the urge to do this for hours. She shivered, resting her cheek against the top of his head and asking, "Do you need help taking those off?"
JD laughed at her. "You really that eager?"
Of course she was. She always was. She just hid it well. "I only meant the cufflinks," St. Cecilia said, though there was a smile curling the edges of her painted lips. "Though if you want to take off more than that, I certainly won't complain."
Again, he laughed, and it was the sweetest sound she had ever heard.
She turned away from him, then met his gaze over her shoulder, saying, "Unzip me?"
He did, the glittery fabric parting and hanging off St. Cecilia's shoulders, and he leaned in to press a kiss to the small of her back. His lips brushing her skin as he spoke, JD said, "You got any idea how gorgeous you are, darlin'?"
She purred, "I have an idea of it." She turned back toward him, leaning in to rest her hands on his thighs and steal a kiss. He didn't fail to notice the way the straps of her dress slipped lower on her arms. It was only her little silver nipple piercings that were keeping it from sliding off entirely. She said, "I could say the same of you." She gasped and giggled when he grabbed for her hips, pulling her close mouthing at her neck. He could still taste her perfume, though he couldn't really smell it anymore. She said, her voice soft, "I adore you, I'll have you know."
"That so?" JD looked nothing short of extraordinarily smug. It was a good look on him, but really, was there any expression that didn't look absolutely radiant on the face of JD Walker? St. Cecilia highly doubted it. "S'pose I can't blame you."
Laughter in her voice, she said, "Of course you can't!" She leaned in close again, pressing her lips to his neck, likely smearing her dark lipstick across his skin. He didn't mind. Very softly, she said, "I don't think adore is a strong enough word."
