So…I’m still working on meeting my fundraising goal for the ride. With that said I’m holding a virtual event on Facebook Live Friday, December 9th @ 8:00pm Eastern that you won’t want to miss! There will be a wheel. Games. Maybe some singing?? 😬

That’s the wrap!

What a weekend it was!  I must admit.  I had forgotten what ride weekend was all about over the past three years.  This was my first ride (and the first ride season) since October 2019.  It was so great to see the coaches out on the course ensuring everyone had a safe and fun ride.  It was amazing to experience the energy and passion to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.  It was really great to see friendly, and new, faces!

Ultimately we raised over $2.4 million with 466 +/- riders attending the event.  I will be sending out more formal “Thank yous”, but my ultimate gratitude goes to the folks listed below as they helped me work towards my goal of raising $3,000 for the cause.  Just like T1D doesn’t stop - I have not stopped fundraising!  My page (http://www2.jdrf.org/goto/wg_ride_2022) will be active throughout December and I have an event (or maybe two) planned so stay tuned!

Thank you all for your continuous support in me for this cause.  It is so important to me and Jen and it means so much to see you along for the “ride”.

And we’re done riding!! What an amazing day! I finished just shy of 100 miles. Officially I rode 88.79. Such a great experience with a ton of great riders! Amazing. More updates later.
