Happy Birthday Sunggyu...
This is late... because I’ve had serious sleep issues and other things and there’s a long post I am working on but.. I don’t want to let more time go by without making a post about Sunggyu and his birthday.
Happy Birthday to my Ultimate Bias Kim Sunggyu - I sincerely hope it was happy and warm and surrounded by friends and family who love you and appreciate you for all the things that you are.

To me, you are breathtaking. Your voice raises me up. I am honest when I say I hear angels singing when you sing. I hear all the emotion and passion you put into it. It’s not just the notes or the sound or tone of it itself.. it’s how I feel when I hear it... when I see you perform. There is no doubt in my mind that you were born to sing.

But you still don’t know, still.. after seven years, after two world tours and two solo albums and innumerable awards and performances... you still don’t know how amazing and just simply superlative you are. You still bow 90 degrees, you still thank your fans and fansite owners with such humility that it kind of breaks my heart. You can be so cocky and witty and you know you are good... and yet.. in a very big way, you don’t know that you are superior, as a person and as a performer. And I love that about you.

And what I want, more than anything else, is for you to be happy. For you to get to continue to perform, to continue seeing your dreams realized, to be happy in whatever way makes you happy. That you have all the things in life, that you most crave and cherish. Because I love you so so much.

Can anyone come along and talk to you about their bias? Because I have so much to say about Dongwoo and I don't even know where to begin. I guess my main thing is that Dongwoo is more than 'just' my bias; I find him really inspiring as a person, too. He is so positive and bright, even during very difficult times. When his father passed away last year, he was so positive about it even while grieving; he even thanked the members and the fans for letting him have the chance to say goodbye. (TBC)
He constantly tries to see the bright side of everything. I feel like he really motivates me as a role model to follow my dreams and not give up. He works so hard and there must be times he feels tired or down or not in the best mood, yet he smiles his way through it all. If I could have just a fraction of his bright happiness then I'd be set for life. There is no way you can be down when you see Dongwoo's beautiful smile. He's a free spirit and his own person, and I appreciate him so much!

That’s honestly so beautiful though T_T Dongwoo is such an amazing person, and I know we all say he’s sunshine in human form, but he honestly, truly is :’) He is SO positive, and honestly I admire him so much for that too!! Optimism is the one of the things that keeps people going, and he certainly makes everything much better :’) Some of the things he says honestly touches my heart and he gives us so much hope, all the while being adorable :D

@jdw-juseyo I totally feel you. I was listening to Waiting for the Moment, Together, With and all their beautiful ballads and I got really emotional. On top of that, some things happened today so I was a bit weak to begin with. Anyway, I started looking up all these touching and emotional moments and now I'm a mess. I want them to always be happy.
