This ending doesn't change anything from the official version, in my opinion. I'm disappointed. This manga ended terribly. Seriously, I think I had too high expectations, like HakYona's wedding and showing her ,a time jump how she copes as queen and how the kingdom is doing under her rule,or the issue of the appearance of the red dragon. The worst part is that Hak and Yona's relationship hasn't changed; they're still her subordinate and servant. I also hoped that Hak would eventually become her equal and call her "Yona"—he's her love interest, after all—but that didn't happen. "Princess" changed to "Your Highness" in those few panels of their kiss, which was neutral to me; I felt no emotion when she talked about her feelings. For me, it was a boring ending.
I read that "If I were a HakYona fan, I'd be pissed." I'm only speaking for myself. I'm not pissed. I'm disappointed with how this manga ended.I feel sad, that's all.
My next problem is how Haku was trampled. You can correct me, but I honestly don't remember him finding out why Yona's father was killed, since that case involved him as well.He became a servant forever instead of showing that he meant something outside of Yona.
I love Hak and will always love him, I believe his character was treated unfairly. Hak deserved more. He's your boyfriend! Let him be your equal, Yona! He is also an important character, but I feel like he is omitted, where he shouldn't be.
What's good about this ending is that the dragons lost their powers and can live their lives. Zeno will this time grow old and die as he always wanted. 'm happy for Zeno and all of them.
As promised, I gave it a chance and waited for the ending, but nothing has changed in my opinion. Unfortunately.
I thought these additional stories would flesh out what Kusanagi didn't write, but honestly, nothing, if anything, has changed. For me, it's completely unchanged. It's sad that the manga I love so much ended with such a weak ending.
