i’m not gonna lie, maybe I’m overthinking this but ethel was oddly possessive about bobby. Or very protective about the kennedy family. I’m watching this podcast about Marilyn Monroe and of course it mentioned bobby. Funny enough, a little during the supposed affair she got an unknown call by a female, saying ‘leave bobby alone’ and ‘tramp’ etc. Bobby and Marilyn met through peter lawford (?) so of course marilyn had some connections with the Kennedys. Not to mention i read an article mentioning Ethel and Jackie. Of course i do not know if this is true butt, back in 1953 when jackie and jfk were going to marry ethel quoted “she better not leave him at the alter or i’ll kill her with my bare hands” or something like that. Yeah, no joke. And of course when Bobby was sick it was said she was over him like a mother hen.
