What kills me about Jacks “don’t read it” scene, is that we later see him read it, and it’s framed like a big moment. Which means he didn’t know or wasn’t certain of its contents. I don’t believe he didn’t let the others read the diary just because he didn’t want them to see him vulnerable, I think it was for Simon.
Would anyone be able to beta read my Jimon fic before I post? It’s a lot of Jack intersection but Simon is super prominent and it has a twist. First chapter is almost done!! Please lmk my messages are open
I think that Dennis, Dee and Frank act like they’ve always known Mac was gay. But Charlie is the only one who’s always been certain, and he was the one to clue them in

the obligatory group chat fic (multi-ship - mel/langdon, samira/abbot, dennis/robby, santos/garcia)
The Pitt, Mel King/Frank Langdon, 9k, Part 2/3, Regency/Persuasion-inspired AU. A @kingdonwishlist fic for @musing-and-music & @stalactice.
“It is very bad of me,” she said, flushing, “but sometimes I purposefully make myself…unappealing to potential suitors, at least the ones I know I could not be happy with.”
“Do you?”
That explained the behaviors he saw of her throughout the Season, how she would shrink into herself around some while acting poised around others.
“I know I am not an Incomparable, so perhaps driving men away isn’t the smart thing to do, but I do not want them.” This was said with an adorable little pout, but he couldn’t be distracted by it.
Langdon licked his lips, feeling a bit breathless; he decided to match her boldness with his own.
dennis's characterization in seasons 10-15 is genuinely so insufferable everytime he's on screen i just groan like oh youre sooooo cool and smart and badass and youre the manipulator of the gang and you play them all like a fiddle in every fucking episode like WHO CARES. i jumped for joy when they made him dumb again in s16. dennis should be dumb like everyone else guys thats like what makes the show fun
There should be a fleabag parody episode where Mac falls in love with a priest and he talks to the camera and takes it very seriously but the priest is so obviously not into him
Does anyone have any macdennis fic recs that have more Mac angst then Dennis angst?? I love a good Dennis whump but I’m genuinely struggling to find any Mac-centric angst, which is crazy for such a big fandom. Please help me out if you can!
