I have this headcanon where Steve has like, a farmers tan. His arms and neck and face (and sometimes his legs) are super dark but because he wears the jean vest all the time, his back and the sides of his torso are whiter than snow because he never takes the thing off. So he just comically has a huge fucking tan line down the middle of his chest and Sodapop so makes fun of him for it.

Also, Soda never tans. He only burns.

Honestly I feel like it would be the other way around lol-instead of a farmers tan Steve just gets UBER red and like his skin is peeling and it looks SO nasty but his stomach/thighs are pale asf-i feel like soda can tan mainly just cause he’s practically sunshine embodied and he’s such a bitch that he gets the most beautiful tans and Steve is just like “😡”
