He’s indeed pretty new in the acting industry. I’ve only seen him in 2 dramas- as the jerk doc in Romantic Doc, Teacher Kim and most recently as young Lee Gyeom in Saimdang Herstory :)

His major is film arts, and he should be completing this year, I thin.

He is actually seen around the campus from time to time -- it's just that the past year has been so busy for him. :P  Can you imagine sitting in class with him? How can one focus at all??

Yes, the diaries are as canon as canon can get, because the entries all come from the pages used in the shooting of the series (except one that is added by the screenwriter), so feel free to take snow-loving, "Source Code"-watching Sooha as the one Park Hye-ryun intended.

I am not sure WHO wrote the diaries per se, the young handwriting is most likely not Jongsuk but the older handwriting looks reasonably like him (read: messy).

I want a sequel too, but honestly IHYV sequel will not happen. For two major reasons: a) the screenwriter didn't write Dream High 2 either, which probably means she is not keen on writing sequels; b) sad to say, but for Jong Suk and Bo Young to relive these characters may be even more awkward when she is newly married. :(

But we can always live in fanfic land and the parallel Seoul -- where Sooha and Hyesung are living happily and solving crimes with the other power duo of Doyeon/Kwanwoo!
