The girls room is loud, too loud, everyone is talking over each other, there's clapping and cheering from one corner and in the other a hushed argument that you can feel is going to spiral into the whole room taking sides.
You want out asap...
So the moment the buzzer sounds with an intro call you're up, slipping into your heels and adjusting your stockings before making a beeline for the intro hallway. Taking a moment to make sure you look presentable before slipping into the small room, fully in the persona of your working name, offering the client your hand and running through your intro with the practiced ease someone who's done this for years has. It's unsurprising how the man across from you stumbles and tumbles through his questions about your service, you can practically taste the first time energy dripping from him as he asks for the third time if you'd be willing to kiss him if he booked you.
It's cute.
Eventually the other workers line up and file through with their intros, the argument and loud noise dies down for a moment while the client is up at the desk, everyone waiting to see who got booked by the nervous man.
The desk buzzes through again, your work name followed by 'Two hours', the room around you picks up volume again after that. Some of the other workers glare at you as you double check your supplies, cranky about not getting booked, others simply carry on with their conversations as you walk out of the girls room and towards the front desk. Reception tells you the rooms available, mentally picking one you like before heading into the lounge to collect your client, smiling brightly as you take his hand and guide him upstairs.
Getting into the room you're already prepped for an awkward health check, being as gentle as you can as you ask him to let you have a look at the more important areas for the booking, soothing the poor man before he delivers a pleasant surprise for the evening.
You've had hybrid clients in the past, but this is a first for you, never before have you seen a bee hybrid as a client. From what you knew of their lives something like this wasn't exactly the norm for them, you can vaguely remember something about how their hive groups help each other with these things, so you feel a rush of nerves and excitement as you pass his health check.
Gently encouraging him to have a quick shower and that you'll be back in a few minutes, waving to him as you leave him, closing the door behind you and almost rushing to the upstairs buzzer to ping reception. You can't help but feel giddy as you tell the reception that your client is a bee hybrid, getting coos and excited responses from the desk before telling them you're heading in now.
Rolling your shoulders and getting into the right mindset before you knock and re-enter the room, smiling brightly as you spot the nervous hybrid on the bed, antenna twitching as you approached him.
This makes the horrid overstim of the girls room wash away with ease, now it's time to enjoy a nervous little bee.
