NEW LOVERS?? (Michael x Adam x Gabriel) - Jealous Lucifer.
Hate. All Adam could feel at that moment was every cell of his being boiling like a cauldron. He tried to calm himself at first, but it was no use. To avoid hurting the animals, he had to beat himself repeatedly until his face was red and scratched, his forehead was purple from the blows against the tree trunk, and his pupils were dilated and swollen.
He didn't know what he had done wrong—or rather, he couldn't accept it—why Lilith had procreated with Lucifer.
Okay, let's recap: He only did what the angels wanted him to do, tame her. But she, in her "we're equals" plan, didn't give in, and slept with that damned dwarf Lucifer just for being an imbecile who lets himself be bossed around by a woman!
Now that he thought about it, it really was the best option. He would tolerate it if Lilith had bossed him around all the time or yelling at him for the smallest thing he did that displeased her... or "punishing" him by not speaking to him for days.
God, he was definitely an idiot.
Why does he always realize his mistakes too late? What does it matter? He doesn't need them anyway; they were just a pastime for him. Nothing matters anymore, not Lucifer, not Lilith, only him now. Alone, in Eden.
Once he'd calmed down—halfway, not really—he let his full weight fall back, landing with a swipe on top of a pile of leaves he'd made earlier, like a nest. His gaze was fixed on the vast sky; even though his day had been awful, the sky still smiled upon him. How ironic.
The animals, noticing that "their king" had finally calmed down, began to approach, albeit hesitantly. They had previously decided to grab him to stop him from hurting himself, and they did, but only by the foot, despite his kicking and screaming. Seeing his stunned eyes and hearing his atrocious voice, he endured this ordeal. They tried to restrain him; he had already hit his forehead many times, but nothing worked. They stopped trying when he almost—I mean almost, centimeters—almost kicked a small duckling that was crying because of Adam's actions.
They knew they couldn't control him, so they just watched with pity in their eyes. Some stayed to indirectly care for him, but most left because they couldn't bear to watch that scene any longer.
Adam had gone to an apple tree, fallen to his knees, and was shaking his head slowly but vehemently, while clutching the oak tree—the same one he had hit himself with so many times—shouting the names of Lilith and Lucifer over and over again.
From all the hitting, let's just say he learned something: to think.
That incident filled him with jubilation. He told himself it wasn't a matter of asking for forgiveness, but of changing his ways. So he opted for the simplest solution: forget them. He wouldn't achieve anything by insulting or cursing them every day. After all, the angels had expelled them from Eden.
He stood up again, shaking his head to dislodge the small twigs embedded in his hair. Now that he thought about it, trying to strangle her hadn't been a good idea. It was obvious Lucifer was going to come to his rescue, grabbing his arm and throwing him to the ground as if he were nothing—he didn't say so, but he landed a hard blow on his ribs. Swallowing his tears, he watched as Lucifer comforted Lilith, kissing her and swearing eternal love.
Seriously? She literally cheated on him. They had sex in front of him, and now they're swearing all the love in the universe to each other like cute little bunnies? This has to be a joke.
He really thought Lucifer was his friend, his right-hand man, his guide, his angel. But no, he only wanted him to get closer to the first woman.
Well, now they're probably happy having sex or kissing outside the garden every day.
He pinched the bridge of his nose, his brow furrowing in disgust every time he remembered that scene.
A fox dared to climb onto his lap, and Adam, almost instinctively, accepted that small comfort, stroking the intruder's soft fur. Other animals joined in, trying to calm him by rubbing against him or making soft sounds to get his attention.
To tell the truth, he wouldn't have discovered them if it weren't for them.
He remembered that day well. He was gathering the mangoes Lilith wanted for lunch. She gave him one of those hurtful looks that irritated him so much, and then, without knowing if he was serious or how to continue the conversation, she just told him to get them for today. The ripest and sweetest ones. I finished by drumming my fingers with my sharp pink nails.
"Why?" I said slowly and distinctly.
She shrugged. "I just thought it would be nice to have a romantic lunch with you." She rubbed her cheek against my temple. "Come on... say yes," she whispered sweetly.
I hated when she did that, when she manipulated me against my will. But I thought, "If it's the only way to get her to leave me alone..." I relaxed my fists, huffing in the process, and nodded. She clapped her hands a few times, euphoric, and skipped away.
It was. Weird. Unusual behavior from her; she'd never treated me like that before. Why now?
I didn't think much about it when I left.
But I was an affable fellow with admirable tact, and a good husband to boot, so I put my thoughts to rest and began the search.
It had taken me a long time; it was as if the mangoes had been hidden. And so it was, curiously enough. I found a pile of mangoes, but at the other end of Eden, too far from the area I usually frequented.
When I looked up, I realized that twilight was falling. How long had I taken?
My thoughts were interrupted when a flock of birds came to me. I smiled, thinking they had come to sing me a beautiful chorus like last time, but no. They looked terrified, frightened. Then other animals joined them; they seemed agitated.
Initially, I didn't know what to do, until the same fox that had been on my lap let go of my leg. A lion was behind me, nudging my hip to encourage me to go in a certain direction.
The birds tugged at my clothes; I thought they wanted to play, even though it was already very late.
I only took them seriously when they took the bracelet Lucifer had given me. It's not that it has anything significant, I swear! -it did, but I'd never admit it- it was gold, and it looked great on me.
I had to run nonstop, dropping all the mangoes in the process. I jumped, crawled, swam, slid through the mangroves, I did everything until they finally stopped.
When I was ready to yell at them, I heard a sharp moan of pain. I was scared for a second; I thought Lilith was in danger. As soon as I looked over, I realized she wasn't.
"Owwh! Lucifer!" she let out another moan, this time more muffled. "Make me feel what the first man never will!"
"Well... that won't be so difficult." He responded with difficulty, tenderly kissing the nape of her neck, fiercely penetrating her virginity.
Adam watched as they reached their climax and fell into each other's arms.
And well, the rest is history. After remembering again why he was like this, he lay back again; a nap would do him good.
(...)
A loud sound jolted him awake. The animals also awoke, looking up at the sky where an imposing figure, along with others, was approaching.
The animals automatically bowed. Adam already knew who it was: Sera. If she was here, it was because of some interesting news, although she was also likely going to reproach him for not taming his wife.
"Adam... I know you've been a little depressed about your wife." Adam shook his head, rolling his eyes; he really didn't care anymore. "But! I have news for you. We've brought you a new companion and a new angel."
Adam's eyes widened. He saw two tall figures—a little taller than him—appear. One was a human, the other an angel.
The human had pale skin, but it was alive. Blue eyes like the sea, bright, and long eyelashes. A slightly upturned nose, with defined but soft features. He wore less clothing than Adam, revealing his completely bare upper body. He had a small skirt held up by a ribbon the same color as the clouds. On the other hand, the angel. He looked a bit like Lucifer, but his hair was spikier and his bangs were curled. His eyes weren't blue, they were orange like fire, just as vivid but piercing. His wings were larger but not as colorful as Lucifer's.
As he tried to say something, the angel threw himself on top of him, squeezing him in a bear hug. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Adam! Sera told us so much about you. Honestly, you're thinner than I imagined; even I could be much more of a man than you. Bah! Just kidding." His voice fluctuated, finally bursting into laughter as he slapped the other man's head hard.
"Excuse him," the other human interrupted, removing the angel's hand from my body. "He's too extroverted. He doesn't control his strength." He glared at him, subtly threatening him to back off. The other obeyed with a nervous smile.
After the other angels left, I spent the entire day with the two of them. Unlike Lilith and Lucifer, "Gabriel and Mike" paid me their undivided attention, and the few times I left them alone—to test them and see what they would do—it was almost always Mike weakly hitting Gabriel while the other mocked his new, frail appearance.
Adam woke up as usual, stretching his arms above his head with a wide yawn and a sleepy smile spreading across his face. Another day in Eden, his husband, his loyal angel friend—everything was perfect again.
Although it felt strange at first, noticing how attached his angel was to him, even giving him tender kisses between his knuckles—wasn't that supposed to be done only by his husband? What was even stranger was that Mike didn't seem to react badly to it.
Gabriel—the few times I was with him—would kiss him anywhere on his body the second Mike appeared. He'd also snuggle into his lap or spoon him.
Mike wasn't far behind, as expected from his husband. He was quite affectionate; there wasn't a morning that went by without his morning kiss, compliments, or offerings of his favorite fruits.
They both seemed to have a lot of affection for him, which unsettled him. It should only be Mike's doing, so... why was Gabriel doing the same? The worst part was that it didn't bother him. On the contrary... he found it quite amusing to feel that affection.
Last day. Without warning, Mike stole a kiss from Adam, which he initially accepted with pleasure. But another soft hand slid across his chin, guiding him to the face of the one who kissed him (Gabriel), who also kissed him.
"Wait!" He said, startled, his pupils trembling and his lips pressed tightly together. "You can't do that! You're my angel!"
"Yes. I am, I'm yours." He let out a flirtatious laugh, looking at him tenderly.
"I know, but..." He stopped, searching Mike with his eyes. He was nervous, maybe... maybe he was upset. But no, he was smiling too. "Mike, say something!"
"Relax, I accept it."
"You... YOU WHAT?"
"Gabriel and I agreed to share your love. We didn't want to fight, to tell you the truth. Yes, I told you I was an angel too. Initially, Gabriel was going to be the human, but I wanted to be your partner... After a long discussion, we agreed it would be better to share. We're not selfish with each other."
Okay, now he had to process all this. He lowered his gaze, puzzled, running his fingers through his scalp. Both angels - well, one of them human now - noticing the distress, slowly approach him, giving him tender kisses.
Paying little attention to the surroundings—and the strange yet intriguingly comforting sensation of passionate kisses pressing against his skin, sending a slight tingle and a new intensity of emotions through him—he slowly lowered his eyelids, surrendering to the passion.
Mike wrapped his arm around his waist, making a brief effort to keep him close. Gabriel followed suit, wrapping his arms around his neck, his cheek brushing against his chest.
Both of them—though not verbally—were vying for Adam's affection. At this point, however, they were even.
Although he wasn't the same, unlike a certain serpent that had slithered into the garden, Lucifer. It would be very difficult for me to describe all the resentment, hatred, envy, and jealousy he was feeling at that moment. He was gnawing his sharp fangs at a branch to try and calm himself: It wasn't fair! he told himself. He was supposed to be his guardian angel, his other half, but he had to admit that he preferred Lilith for certain reasons. But Adam was still his! He couldn't say completely that he belonged to Adam, but Adam belonged to him. He was supposed to be sad for him, begging for his return so he could feel better about himself. Adam should be crying for him, wanting him back to feel whole again. But apparently, he forgot him so quickly and replaced him not only with his twin, but also with his "ex-mentor," who kissed Adam's neck while glancing at him out of the corner of his eye.
He knew Gabriel; he was too observant of his surroundings. Their eyes met, and Gabriel clung tighter to Adam, relishing Lucifer's inner turmoil.
...
"Damn you! You were supposed to be my friend!" Lucifer shouted, pointing at Gabriel and slamming him against his shield.
Gabriel looked at him indifferently. Raising an enigmatic eyebrow, his only response was to tug at his cheek and pinch it. "Oh, foolish Lucifer. You think you're so important, but you're not. You see, Adam was created to be with people of superior intellect, if you know what I mean." He gave a sly smile. "And Lilith was his equal, yes, but she was just as proud as you."
Lucifer's eyes turned golden yellow, and his wings spread wide, trying to intimidate his other brother.
"Don't talk about her like that! She's perfect, a thousand times better than Adam!"
"If that's what you say, then why does it bother you that we're with him now?"
There was no response; the word wouldn't leave his mouth. He lowered his wings again, feeling defeated, but he didn't want to admit it.
"Oh, silly so silly Lu. You're too emotional for these things, but don't worry." He placed his hand on the younger boy's shoulder, patting it gently. "We'll take good care of him."
Lucifer remained silent again, clenching his fists suspiciously, trying to suppress the urge to kill him right there.
"Besides, the three of us have been together for a long time now. It's time for mating."
"No. Don't tell me you'll participate. Mike, well, that's his role, but you? FOR GOD'S SAKE, YOU'RE AN ANGEL!"
"Even if you don't believe me, Sera agrees. Although, sadly, I won't be able to give birth to him children." She paused for a moment, then smiled wickedly again, her pupils gleaming. "Not for now."
