This one comes from a French bande-dessinée. I used to own it, but then I lost it, so I bought it again online.
The bande-dessinée is “Zap Collège”, first volume/tome/book. Zap Collège is basically a parody of public middle school in France. Jean-Eudes, the main character (and the boy you see there) is the upper-class, well-manered, very intelligent son of a diplomat, and he is sent to a public school (basically one where he is confronted with more vulgarity and stupidity, but also with people from middle to low class as well as kids with different ethnic and religious backgrounds). All in all it is just a bunch of jokes and parodies - the bande-dessinée series was so popular it got adapted into a dessin-animé ( a French cartoon) even though unfortunately the episodes are hard to find these days.
Anyway, in one strip in the first volume of the comic book (I couldn’t check the others so if someone from France has any info) Jean-Eudes is trying to help one of his friend to lose weight - said friend being overweight. However, this friend (Victor) doesn’t really get how to lose weight. For exemple he starts running with Jean-Eude and does some jogging, but when he stops to rest he eats candies from the huge backpack he has, backapack filled to the rim with candies. Jean-Eudes, trying to help, steals the candy out of the bag - but as it turns out, all the bins of the public park are full, and the guard of the park is watching him to make sure he won’t liter by letting the candy on the floor. So Jean-Eudes has no choice but to eat it all, and as a result he grows as fat as Victor and he is forced to jog with him to lose weight (while before he just ran with him to encourage him losing weight).
I really like this one, you know Xp Especially how the belly folds at the edge of the pants.
