As a child in St. Louis, I was obsessed with Josephine Baker. She was always spoken of with great pride in our city. So, I was over the Mon to discover that my soul sista’ in another life has become the first Black woman honored at #Paris Panthéon for her work during the war. Having spent a considerable amount of time with her adopted son Jean Claude at his now defunct restaurant Chez Josephine in New York, I KNOW if he were alive today he would be absolutely overjoyed💗💗💗 #josephinebaker #parispantheon #paris #stlouis #jeanclaudebaker #chezjosephine https://www.instagram.com/p/CXEMiMkJOZU/?utm_medium=tumblr
