He’s an Al! Presumably an Albert — we never find out but we do apparently learn his summer camp name in 2 (which I missed bc i had to pee) and it is ALSO very funny. I say this as a resolute TBP1 enjoyer but I know in my heart this fucker had a totally badass symbolic serial killer name picked out for himself à la Dennis Rader and was really bummed out that people only ever called him The Colorado Boy Yoinker.

my incredibly salty tony gilroy opinion is that he's one of Those leftist guys who's convinced he's the protagonist of the movement and the only one who can or should get anything done, so he hates Rogue One because he had to (horror of horrors) collaborate with OTHER PEOPLE instead of being the god-king of his own little creative fiefdom like he is as a showrunner. also, like many leftist men, he has problems with women he refuses to acknowledge. many such cases!

it does kinda feel like he's salty he couldn't remake the whole movie into HIS vision - which is what he's attempting to do with Andor. but the result is disgrace to both the show, which could have been good so easily, and the movie which is a final finished product and deserves to be respected as such without trying to retcon it. ugh, I'm slowly making my peace with it, but I think I'll stay angry about this until I die

I go back and forth on whether I would like a hug from Joe or Nicky more. I think Nicky is the best hugger for when you're sad and tired and just need someone to squeeze you real tight and Joe's best for when you're feeling playful. (no nsfw, this ask is about hugs only.)

nicky’s hugs: grounding, firm, enveloping, you can maybe bury your head in his shoulder a little bit if you need a small cry and he won’t say anything, he will stand there as long as you need a hug and then he will give you a lil squeeze when he lets go

joe’s hugs: no matter size or gender you are getting LIFTED off the ground and spun in a circle, he’s going to hug you like he hasn’t seen you in 20 years, his hug is so full of infectious joy that you are not going to be able to do anything but laugh and when he sets you back down he does the thing where he holds your shoulders and smiles at you w his eyes all crinkled n happy
