Downplaying it didn't really work and yet she tried it every time, hell even when it really wasn't that big a deal someone always gave her The Look. Jeanie never really did that and Rogue appreciated it but she also never wanted to put more on Jean's PLATE than she already had, especially just for a normal glitch in her mental matrix. Rogue could muddle on through just fine for a while longer before she needed and INTERVENTION.
