It’s been a rather tough year for Monroe fans. First we had the Met Gala fiasco, with Kim Kardashian ruining what is a piece of modern History, the beautiful birthday gown designed by Jean Louis. Destroyed for the whim of a celebrity and the greed of a so-called museum. Then we had to endure the misogynistic and exploitative film Blonde, of which I already expressed my opinion in a review. The only good thing to come out of all this is the renewed enthusiasm for the real Marilyn. When you look at her work, you can see the hardworking and talented woman, intelligent and generous, committed to her craft and always trying to better herself, in and off screen.
