I am fortunate that I can see the Aqua building from my office window. Beyond the beauty and uniqueness of this building, it is a symbol of the progress of women's equality as it was designed by a woman, Jeanne Gang. As one of the few pieces of the Chicago skyline designed by a woman, it is also a reminder that there is still so much to be done to obtain true gender equality.
