uhh this isn't embarrassing so much as just amusing but when i was in fifth grade i was at some kid's birthday party and for some godforsaken reason there was a dj. (i go to prep school people do that kind of shit at kids' 12th birthday parties) and the dj asked the kids what their favorite artists were and i was 11 and really into classical art and not so much into pop music and i shouted "VERMEER!"
