Jeansen, Henrietta Jeansson Alalehto 2015
A comic I made for a school project with the theme “Movement”.
A story about a pair of jeans that got sown to tight and were unable to sell for the storeowner, until someone buy them without trying them on and they end up in a second hand store. In this store a grandmother finds these jeans and decide it will be a great gift for her grandson.
This comic is criticizing the look society and the male gaze have on young women, the stress of being so thin that you look like a seven-year-old and have expensive clothes, and if there is any sort of difference between “male clothes” and “female clothes”.
