super funny comic based on this post I made
This is my jedisona Shae!
They're a young jedi archivist who struggles to find their place in the order during the clone wars and dislikes wearing beige robes! They help run the children's section of the jedi archives.
Feel free to ask me any questions/send me any asks I am thinking so much about them right now.
shae would make such a funny sith apprentice in an au. I'm going to try and make a funny comic of this but like. I'm convinced they would freak out and like immediately take it on themself to explain why the jedi order is actually super cool. and they were picked by dooku specifically because of all their criticisms of the jedi order and annoying questions and now they're stuck listening to dooku play sith's advocate.
Kit Fisto being Shae's master would be super fun actually because they're both optimistic people but Shae is not chilled out at all like you have a tiny padawan agonising over the intricacies of the Order and Kit Fisto gently explaining it's all ok please relax to them for the fourth time
thinking about Shae trying to find other 'maverick' thinkers in the jedi and visiting the statues of all the lost jedi and seeing Count Dooku and being terrified they're no better than him.....
once again thinking about how lonely shae is and how they know they could fit in and be the perfect jedi but they can't bring themselves to do it so they think they they're isolation is their fault because they chose to be like this.
and like, how their master was a good master but he'd already had two good padawans who turned out well so shae never got why he trained them and if that's why he let them rebel because he didn't care enough.
omg i need 2 know everything abt shae. whos their master, what color is their lightsaber? whats their favorite fighting style and do they prefer fighting to diplomacy? how many times have they considered strangling anakin after he barged thru the kids section like a dinosaur. what is even in the kids section of the jedi archive? do they like kids or just kids literature WHAT HAPPENS TO THEM AFTER ORDER 66
ok ok ok ok
SO I do not know who their master is yet I'm super torn but I'm thinking Kit Fisto..... That's still up in the air at the moment but they're around Trilla Suduri's age so they're like 17/18 during the clone wars which gives me so many options.
their lightsaber is pink!!!!! and they have a shoto blade too which is orange but tbh they don't duel wield it's more of a dagger type blade for surprise attacks.
they prefer a mix of makashi and soresu but they specialised in diplomacy and it was their dream to be a diplomat like ever since they were picked for a padawan they've wanted to do it. so when the war starts just as they were starting to get really good at it and be able to do it by themselves they're gutted.
they prefer makashi over soresu because they're better at outsmarting an opponent than outlasting them. they would be SO good at djem so though but they do not want to do it and think it makes them too angry etc etc 🙄
so their saber skills are good but that's not what they specialised in.
they're also actually younger than Anakin but they do not appreciate him wrecking the displays they put together. nor do they appreciate certain masters taking their classes to the archives without prior warning......
In my mind the children's section of the archive has all the stuff for padawans and younger? so like they've got stories and guides to using the force for kids. non fiction, fiction all that jazz. There's also a baby area where you read stories to babies and stuff.
Shae likes kids :) they have a big crisis when the war starts because they aren't a fighter and they think the war is wrong fundamentally. and they're barely knighted/is about to be knighted so panics and retreats to working with young padawans and initiates whose masters and teachers have to fight. They have a masssivvveeeee crisis over this and it causes so much guilt on their behalf. Idk if they leave/take part/just start a splinter group yet or all three but it eats them up inside.
As you can imagine order 66 hits them incredibly hard because they were so close to so many kids.
They survive order 66! Do not ask me how but it really wrecks them because they feel so guilty for causing rifts in the jedi (they didn't really but in their brain) and feels like they were partially responsible for the order being destroyed because they didn't stand by the war. Sooo much guilt and conflict over that it's super fun.
I think they get a few kids out though and some babies because I think it's too tragic for them to not save any of them because they were so close to so many young children at the temple.
Shae returns most of the kids to their parents or their homeworlds (some they might not .... still room for lots there). Then they try and find their parents.... fun times there... and then they hide!
There's also a whole thing with her and Trilla. childhood best friends and maybe more to enemies etc etc Shae is wrecked when they find out what happened to Trilla and Cere because they thought they were like the best jedi pairing ever. I am going to stop now though but thank you for your questions.
see Shae here and asks are always open!!!
it would be so funny though if shae got assigned to max's battalion because there were no other jedi.
so you've got a battalion who had been seconds from a mutiny and a commander who has now gotten away with killing the previous jedi general (quite rightly by the way) and the last thing they want is another jedi. then you have shae who is tearing themselves up inside and has been for the past years of the clone wars.
their padawan brother has died and sister is actually helping people and they're tired of being seen as a failure and a disappointing to the whole jedi order. plus it's clear that no one cares what they have to say about the war and even that there won't be a place for them after the war if they don't start fighting.
so shae goes off and meets max for the first time who is still reeling from the whole experience but his first reaction is great. a child.
anyway, time goes by and although they hate being a general they're good at tactics and their style of combat is well suited to mowing down droids. no one really trusts shae at first after dreode so she is once again very lonely but at least this time she's helping the jedi order right?
