London: How do you take your tea?

It depends on the type of tea. Fruit or light teas I’m happy with plain or with a touch of sugar. Black teas are taken with some sugar and cream or some sugar and a squeeze of lemon. I also enjoy chilled teas.

Hong Kong: What is your earliest childhood memory?

I was a year and four months old when my great-grandparents house and store burned down in the lot next to my grandmother’s home. It was January and a massive blizzard was going on. I remember how cold the glass was against my hands and the snow everywhere. In morning light, I could see the firefighters putting out the embers and how the only thing I could still really make out was a washing machine on scorched land.
