being bored can be productive

I just need the distraction from RL atm… I had to put my cat down little less than 45 minutes ago and I just need to do something but I can’t write something of my own original work…

  For those interested, my cat’s name was Jasper, he was 14 years old. I got him for my 9th birthday 14/15-ish years back.

Here’s a bit of a report what happened last night.

So last night I saw my cat walking by (He’s been poorly all week) and saw that he wasn’t just limping on his right front foot because of an infection there, but his right back leg was limping too. I freaked out, yelled for my mum; we both freaked and called our vet who had the overnight shift.

She gave my cat the equivalent of Morphine so that the pain wouldn’t be that bad for him as we had to give him an enema as there was a lot of hard poo stuck in his bowels.

At the moment, my kitty’s doing fine. We had an overnight shift of staying awake to keep an eye on him; which means that I’m fucking tired now (and it resulted in almost breaking my neck on the stairs) and gave him another morphine injection. It’s not common practice to give clients injections to do at home but seeing as they know I studied animal care they make an exception for us.

So yeah, don’t know what’s going to happen. All I know is that I’m freaking tired and I could sleep for days but seeing as mum’s at work, I have to watch my cat and I can’t sit properly cause my bum hurts like a mother.
