sincerely shedding tears over jack’s goodbye. what a fucking honour it’s been to get to listen to him call games all these years. as i know has been the case for many of you, jack and brick were a huge part of my childhood (or, at least the small part of it i got to enjoy) and still are a huge part of my life all these years later. i’ll cherish getting a front row seat to both jack’s unwavering enthusiasm for this team (and all the crazy antics that came with it) and his heartwarming friendship with andy, forever. 19 years of making bruins fans smile… that’s legend shit in my book. he truly was the voice of a generation. no one will ever amount to him.
to an amazing announcer, and an even better human: thank you for all the memories you’ve given so many of us. i wish the world had been a little kinder and given us more years of listening to you and brick absolutely SLAY the broadcast game like you always do! no one does it quite like you, king!! <3
enjoy retirement. no one has more fun than us 🥹
had to take a minute cause i started sobbing listening to him sign off, but here’s my jedwards post. call me a sap, idc. if you need me i’ll be weeping into my pillow :’(
