Aukai was sure that after everything he’s experienced, after everything he’s seen, that nothing could possibly get weirder. He was soooo wrong. 9-foot-tall aliens with four eyes that were camping out in Canada definitely took the cake of weird stuff. His list of weird stuffs he’s done has changed too, because he was about to try and capture one of the aliens along with a bunch of different squads. Basically, a bunch of aliens showed up in Canada and well they weren’t too friendly to the troops who went before him. And because hostile aliens would freak out the entire world instead of bringing in the actual army the U.S. and Canadian government worked together and sent in small military organizations like H.O.O.P. Aukai wasn’t too thrilled about having to go to a cold country to try and catch an alien that they knew almost nothing about. At least his fellow soldier and mechanic, Joker, seemed to be excited which was something he had never seen before and almost wished he didn’t see because it was a little unsettling. “We’ll take it to my lab once we catch it. I can’t wait to preform tests and dissections on it. I just wish we had enough room for two of them.” The smile and laugh they gave only made Aukai give a worried smile in return. “We’re just going to ask them some questions. There weren’t any orders for tests or the likes.”

“There weren’t any orders saying that we couldn’t though.” Great now Aukai had to worry about an alien escaping AND Joker maybe killing them. He was going to be the one to integrate and guard the alien after all. Most of the time spent was getting all of Joker’s weird traps and inventions ready. He wasn’t sure what half of the things did but he knew that one of them was some sort of really strong net that once trigged shocked and set off some sort of tranquilizer. Now it was time to wait. They looked even bigger up close, there was no way they could actually fight these things though Joker did explain they had a backup plan if they did need to kill some. Something about some sort of thing that breaks down the atoms bonds so that they were nothing? Honestly the things that Joker made scared Aukai sometimes. Still once the signal was given by Joker, they went out. Somehow it went off perfectly. Well perfect enough. There were wounded men and Aukai was sure he had some broken ribs but still. They managed to lure one of the aliens, one with horns on its head which only made things weirder for him, to the net. It went off, shocked the hostile, tranqed him, and they managed to get him through the portal that was created by Joker without issue. The only issue was getting the men out of there from the other hostiles. Most of the men got through the portal but there were stragglers and Aukai ended up going back to try and get the men away. It was successful enough, enough as in they got away and were lost for a good while. Eventually go to an open area where they could call in a chopper. When they did get back, Aukai had to go straight to the labs. He got healed up in the chopper and dropped off. He would’ve like a more of a rest but work was work and he didn’t have much of a choice. Getting inside was a pain due to how tight the security was and how Joker wasn’t coming to get him personally since they were having too much fun goggling over their new specimen. Still when Aukai finally did manage to get to where the alien was, which took a long as elevator ride because of how many levels down the lab was, he was relived to find Joker hadn’t touched him. Only staring at him in the observation room. “It’s beautiful, isn’t it? Such a fascinating creature, I knew there was life beyond our planet but never had the chance to personally see one with my own eyes.” They sounded almost in peace before they’re strict and cold voice came back. “Hurry up and get your info so I can get to testing. I’m going to be busy so just buzz me when you’re done.” He was guessing it was to distract themselves. “…Right…” Was all he could find to say as he watched the scientist walk off in an almost unhappy form. It was time. Well it was supposed to be, but all Aukai could do was just look at the alien from the observation room. It was a one way mirror, plus the bounds were made from the strongest metal known to Earth, but yet Aukai felt nervous. A voice in his head telling him to not do this and to leave before something bad happened. He only shook his head to try and clear the thoughts as he walked in. Horns, teeth, claws, yet still human like. He wasn’t sure what to feel or what to expect. He could only stare for a bit, this was the first time he’s ever seen an alien after all. “Uh…Aloha. Er Hello.” Great first impression. He could only manage an awkward and nervous smile. “My name is Aukai. I just want to ask a few questions.”
