Moonlight ➢ Jee In + Taekwoon
Jee In lay out onto the broken living room floor. She stared off into the hole in the ceiling and into the stars. Just waiting for Taekwoon to come home again. It was always so boring when he wasn’t home and she was getting worried because it was already so late. The girl could tell that it was almost the start of the new day basing on the moon’s placement in the sky. Maybe I should go look for him. No, that means going outside and the possibility of dealing with people, and getting taken away. Why was he out so late? Usually he would come home before night fall and it worried her to think about the worst, but it was her habit because it always seemed if something wasn’t right then the worst thing that could happen was definitely in play. The night was colder than it was normally. She grabbed at the fabric of her dress and looked around for something to cover up in. Sitting up she spotted one of Taewkoon’s black jackets and put it on. She held it tightly to her body making her feel safer knowing it was his. Jee In could smell his scent and it calmed her down, taking her thoughts away from him being gone. Besides, it was her duty to be here, happily awaiting his return.
Sometimes it was hard to be happy let alone waiting. When the only person by your side isn’t there it would only be human to go insane wondering where they are, just like a kid lost in a store looking for their mother. Though she had never experienced that from being locked up as a test subject all her life. She felt that she wasn’t a test subject though, merely a play toy for these men that worked in the lab. Taking her and abusing her if she didn’t follow their rules, or just if they wanted something from her. In any situation she was always doing something wrong and then taken to be physically violated. The most surprising thing was that the man that usually was the one doing all the terror in her life was in fact her beloved Taewkoon’s own father. It killed her to think that a man of such sweet and kind existence was in any way related to the devils helper, especially blood related. It seemed that Jee In’s life was always to be tied to the Jung family. But she was glad that this time it was him she was with every day and hopefully every day here on forward.
Jee In wiped her head around towards the door as the door knob turned. She quickly grabbed a shard of a broken mirror and ran to hide behind the hallway wall that connected the living room and two other rooms in the house. When the door fully opened she placed the mirror in front of her to try and get a view of the person that intruded their house. It was Taewkoon. The female stayed were she was, watching him closely making sure that he wasn’t possessed by Leo. She was very afraid of Leo. Whenever he was in control, he would yell and break things. Leo was a very violent. After all she’s been through dealing with another violent person wouldn’t help her in anyway. As she watched him she noticed something. A rose colored liquid dropped to the floor from one of his black wings. She stared as a small puddle of blood was created on the floor. And as she thought though not as drastic, something had gone wrong.
