Ah yes! And let's not forget that Epic was the first Blue Sky film to show this incredibly iconic and full of life new logo featuring Scrat as their mascot character animated by the very talented Jeff Gabor! Can't tell ya how hard I stimmed the first time I saw it. ;w;

It's been a year since I uploaded this video! Still really glad that my Mom was able to record it. It made the whole thing even more special if you ask me! It is still funny how much squealing I did while opening it though. XD But can you really blame me?

Finally, after 20+ years of nonstop chasing and torture, Scrat got to eat his acorn. This was done by a small team of artists at Blue Sky to give each other one last goodbye and it couldn't be more perfect. Goodbye Scrat, and goodbye Blue Sky, I'll miss you. ;w; ♥

And fun fact! Jeff Gabor sent this to me months ago before it was released to the public. Even at the time I couldn't believe my eyes and I was overcome with so much emotion. I'm so honored I got to see it before then and I'm so glad others can see it now too because trust me, it was quite the hard secret to keep to myself! 😋
