Here have a Boiling Rock AU thing
idk i noticed you mention the br au thing and it inspired me to do a thing so i did a thing and it's kind of jetko?
x-x-x-x
They call them 'the coolers' and they're a punishment specially designed for firebenders, but especially rowdy non-firebenders can get thrown in there, too. Rowdy non-firebenders like him. Jet shivered and curled up into an even tighter ball. It was freezing in the cooler, but he relished in the feeling. It meant that he still had it - still had the ability to stand up to these fucking tyrannical firebenders.
The cooler was somewhat bittersweet, though.
It reminded him of the first time he'd ever been encased in ice, the harsh ridges of bark digging into his back, unable to move as the waterbender he'd shared his pain with had cried and screamed at him.
All because he'd been trying to do what he'd thought was the right thing.
The door cracked open and Jet looked up in surprise. He smirked at the guard. "Letting me out early?" he said, eyes alight with contempt.
The guard huffed. "You wish. The only reason we're letting you out is so we can put someone else in," he said.
He grabbed Jet and yanked him out and Jet retained his annoying grin until he saw the other prisoner in the hallway.
He would never forget that scarred face.
Lee.
"You!" Jet snarled. He charged at Lee but the guard put him in a choke hold and brought him to his knees.
"Jet," Lee gasped in surprise.
One of the guards escorting Lee turned to him in surprise. The guard smiled maliciously. "Well, what do you know - it looks as though Prince Zuko here is acquainted with this piece of Earth Kingdom garbage."
Jet couldn't move, couldn't think - couldn't breathe.
Prince Zuko?
The Prince of the Fire Nation?
Jet finally regained his bearings as he being dragged away, down the hallway. He grappled with his guard and turned to face Lee - no, Zuko - as he was dragged away. "You fucking liar! If I get my hands you, I'll kill you! You fucking firebender!" he roared.
jefrostmuffin replied to your post: I suck at baking. *hands slightly burned fruit tart to Lee*
If you won’t eat it, I will.
"But the greyface gave it to me."

THANKS I knew I wasn't making this shit up
Do you think we're going to see any new techniques from Sakura during the upcoming fight? There were some theories floating around a while ago that Tsunade's speech to Madara about the rules she imposed on medics was a hint that Sakura might be able to perform something similar to Tsunade's Creation Rebirth/Strength of a Hundred Men technique, but that seems a little farfetched to me. Maybe not quite as farfetched as the Sakura is a Senju/has a sage mode theory, though.
I want her genjutsu where the fuck IS IT KISHI?? But I think any new techniques she has will be medical related, and it will help strengthen her abilities to fight, like Tsunade's creation rebirth. I'm 90% sure Sakura can do that technique, or some version of it. As for the Senju theory, I'm holding off on that idea until Hashi gets there. While the idea is farfetched, Kishi pulled shit out of his ass before.
I suppose some people think that Tsunade's rules prevent Sakura from fighting, but Sakura hasn't ever actually followed those rules, and even if she did, her speech basically confirmed it was pointless to keep following them. "If we're gonna die anyway... then it's better to die fighting." If she's going down, she's gonna go down swinging. Also, mangastream translation of the opening line of her speech was GOLDEN: "We've made it this far so quit sniveling and grow a pair!"
OH MY GOD. "Quit sniveling and grow a pair!" I accept this translation. My badass bitch being badass.
But I think Tsunade made those rules for your average medic to follow, and most importantly is actually gives some sort of structure to the medical unit, and increases a teams survival rate. It doesn't mean medics are incapable of fighting. We've seen Sakura fight! She impressed Sasori, and if people don't want to accept that girl isn't actually useless, than that's their loss.
And I think it's very obvious that Sakura's going to be fighting some time during this. There's no way she's going to see Sasuke and Naruto fight while she watches, waiting for one of them to get hurt. I think we'll be seeing a reappearance of her famous quote, "Now it's your turn to watch my back.'' Here's hoping.
