Umbreon and Espeon are shown to make packs in the wild, unlike most other eeveelutions. While other members of the eevee line usually have stark differences in behavior and habitat (Leafeon and Glaceon) or just have temperaments that don’t mix well in the wild (Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon), the only noticeable differences in the needs of Umbreon and Espeon are that Umbreon tend to be slightly more nocturnal. Even then, this mostly works to their advantage-- while Espeon are sleeping at night, Umbreon go hunting for nocturnal prey (such as Drilbur or the occasional Jellicent), and vice versa (Espeon usually hunt Ducklett, Minccino, or Pelipper). Young Eevee evolve into Espeon or Umbreon based on which group they hunt with more, keeping the Day/Night balance steady.

anyway, i think i have a pretty neat partner for you. i actually thought of a couple and i’ll probably include them below ur actual partner, but first:
❄ first things first, fennekin is a fire-type. aside from being one of ur faves, this means that it has a constant internal flame burning, making it pleasantly warm to the touch. furthermore, this internal flame causes a sort of gentle glow that makes fennekin easy to spot in dim light - it manifests at its brightest around the fluff in its ears, since there are vents there to allow for fire to pass. this also means that fennekin is a great companion for someone scared of the dark like yourself, since it has a perpetual glow.
❄ being a canid, fennekin has a very loyal disposition. it’s a little more mischievous than a dog pokemon, and fairly intelligent due to its dormant potential for a psychic typing. this intelligence makes it very curious, so it will love to learn new things with you.
❄ fennekin is still only young, so it’s a vivacious, energetic pokemon that loves to play. having fennekin around will be a great distraction when you get stressed; it’s impossible not to smile when it’s around, and it will do everything it can to try and cheer you up. fennekin is also very affectionate, so once it’s gotten its playfulness out, it will happily cozy up to you and pass the time in a more passive way.
❄ being quite small, fennekin is capable of accompanying you almost everywhere - and unlike some fire types, it doesn’t have an externally burning flame, meaning that there are no dangers surrounding flammability and it won’t be barred from places other fire types potentially could be.

I’m a 20 year old girl who’s currently in college, working towards a zoology degree! I’m still not 100% certain which specific field I’d like to go into, but whatever field I end up in, I’d love to be somewhere I can help animals, either as a vet assistant, a researcher, zookeeper, etc!
I tend to be pretty anxious, and my head is almost always in the clouds. I spend most of my free time either daydreaming, drawing fanart, going on walks, or taking naps, so I’m usually pretty laidback and can sometimes be a bit lazy tbh. I’ve been told that I have a bad case of resting bitch face, I’m pretty shy and quiet, and I don’t really like being around noisy people, so I can accidentally come across as grumpy and serious before people get to know me. But I try my best to be nice to everyone I meet, and it’s actually super easy to get me to laugh and goof around once folks get to know me! And I love my friends a whole bunch. Overall, I’m just anxious, shy, spacey, curious, quiet, laidback, friendly, perpetually sleepy, and nowhere near as grumpy as I look at first!

❄ altaria is a calm, soothing pokemon that’s very pleasant to be around. it’s famous for its beautiful singing voice and melodic, comforting humming, and it’s incredibly soft to the touch. having altaria around would really help with your anxiety and ground you whenever your head gets lost in the clouds.
❄ being so soft, altaria is great as a napping buddy - it can help you get better nights’ sleeps due to how comfortable it is. it’s docile and laid-back, just like you, but it’s by no means lazy - it has incredible endurance and can encourage you to cultivate self-motivation.
❄ altaria is very kind, and people tend to gravitate towards its big heart and gentle soul. it’s also very loyal and loving towards people it cares about, and will relate greatly to your love of your friends. furthermore, it’s often known for being quite playful despite its elegance - having someone like you as its trainer could encourage it to be more goofy and open with you.

❄ wooper is a food-oriented pokemon that’s incredibly friendly. with its wide head, dopey expression and jerky movements, it’s easy to see why it’s charmed so many people. fearless, friendly and extroverted, wooper will wander right up to people it’s never met before (and will outright dash if they have food).
❄ this dopiness contrasts with your sharp-minded intelligence; having wooper around will make for some much-appreciated comic relief. however, wooper also shares in your forgiving nature - it can face tremendous cruelty from people and repeatedly forgive them regardless of this. if you can teach wooper to stand up for itself a little better, you may learn something about yourself.
❄ being a water/ground type, wooper is well-equipped to deal with any fires you may encounter. it’s unlikely that anything bad might happen, but in the event that it does, you can count on wooper to help you out.
❄ despite its obliviousness, wooper throws itself into everything it does with eager excitement. having such determination and curiosity in your life could motivate you whenever you’re feeling lazy - surprisingly, wooper is a brilliant role model when it comes to teaching people motivation. it never gives up.
❄ wooper will follow you wherever you go, very much like a duckling. its small size means it can accompany you almost anywhere - and its adaptability means it will love to be by your side through everything, whether it’s something active or something lazy. whatever the case, wooper will be happy just being with you.
