is being a siren alter human also considered a therian? I’m not new to at all, but I’ve always been scared to ask some questions

hi!! no need to worry i was thinking about this for a while before deciding to answer (i’m it can b confusing)

from my understanding therian refers to animals we have on earth such as cats, dogs, fish, birds etc. edit: animals on earth or not to any extent! includes things like werewolves

otherkin can refer to those who refer to any sort of non human being! regardless of what type it is.

however i know the terms can mean diffrent things to diffrent people. i am more than glad to be corrected if anyone else knows a clearer answer but this is from my knowledge on the terms ╭( ･ㅂ･)و

i’m gonna start college again and i want to begin posting here more often,, i love meeting with water creatures and just talking kin talk in general. i’ve grown a lot in 2025 and i feel much more comfortable with my alterhumanity. and id love to let others know i’m still here even at my age !! ㄟ(￣▽￣ㄟ)

What’s your favorite fact about jellyfish?

ouu i love this!! well my personal favorite is that they’re 95% water, they’re such silly creatures and scientist debated if they were even animals when they were first being identified (ㄏ￣▽￣)ㄏ

i also really like the fact that there’s a species of jellyfish that’s biologically immortal! very tiny little thing that goes through reverse metamorphosis into the polyp stage!! the jelly retracts its tentacles and shirks turning into a cyst settling onto the ocean floor and starting the process all over again :D !!
