Two of the most important things I learned from month two of my #curlyhair journey is that my hair responds positively to gel (I’ve been using #JellySoftCurls from @miss_jessies) and that dry shampoo is my best friend for volume (using @nymbrands ‘Plump for Joy’ Body Building Dry Shampoo). I haven’t checked if the brand of dry shampoo I’m currently using is #curlygirlmethod friendly (will check in case you’re interested), but man oh man it does wonders for my hair. EXCITING NEWS: It’s not even 9am yet, but I hit my squatting goal of 155lbs this morning! Plus I also managed to get a photoshoot in & do my hair...all without coffee! I’m ecstatic to be sharing w/ you my favorite #curlyhair experimentation results today. It took me three months to get to this point, but if you swipe, you’ll some comparison photos including filtered ones that show a closeup of how my curls are nicely (finally) clumping together.
