Found this on Pinterest (might honestly be a Tumblr repost knowing that site lol)
I miss DuckTales 2017 💔💔💔
Honestly had no idea the fandom was so divided on the Timephoon! & GlomTales! episodes, but I guess I should have seen that coming since there is so many angsty Louie fics based around what happens.
Anyway, I see both sides and agree that him getting in trouble in Timephoon! was justified (even if I don't think projecting your own issues onto your children is a good idea 👀). My fucking problem is how he's treated in GlomTales! Specifically the recorded videos essentially saying that he has to earn his place in the family he was born into (that the traits that both Della and Scrooge have that Louie inherited make him a bad person and he needs to completely change himself to be liked) and the audacity of what is essentially a step-parent threatening his place in a family she was forced (through a mistake on her part!) away from for a whole ass decade.
Della might be his bio mom, but that doesn't mean the relationship is automatically there. There's a difference between a Sperm Donor and a Dad (for instance). Donald should have been there for both episodes, or at the very least another adult should have stepped in (I don't wanna hear "it would have undermined her authority" when she doesn't have any authority in the first place/yet and obviously doesn't know what she's doing!).
One of my biggest gripes with the show is that they never completed Louie (especially his and Della's) Arc, or at least didn't make their Arc more pronounced like with the other children (he is, at least on surface level, the least like Della). Another is The Life and Crimes of Scrooge McDuck!
Trials of Apollo (ToA)
Tales of Arcadia (ToA)
The only time I regret being in both fandoms lol
Edit: think I've figured it out tho 👀
Happy 10 years to Wolf 359 👏🎉
Happy 12 years to Welcome to Nightvale 👏🎉
And yes, this is early, but whatever.
What's with all the plant monsters in podcasts???
Friendly reminder, since I had to go looking for it, "masked" is for any malevolent content you post that you don't want Harlan to see 👀
