🎶✨when u get this u have to put 5 songs u actually listen to, publicly. then, send this ask to 10 of your favorite followers (non-negotiable, positivity is cool)🎶 linnnnn as ever im nosy and wanna know 😂
Hej Jess! Thanks for this ask, I'm so happy you're nosy! Coincidentally, I've been compiling a top ten list of songs from bl shows (which I'll post at some point!), but this ask allows me to be a freer with my choices than that list, so I'm grateful for that.
Alright...before I start, I was a bit confused at the wording of the ask - I guess it means songs I listen to when other people might also be in hearing range, yes? Well, I don't usually listen to music when other people are around (social anxiety ftw) but sometimes it happens when I'm in work early in the morning and some of my colleagues also arrive early...so I'm just going to pick five of my favourite songs from the playlist I usually listen to (it's 8 hours long so there's plenty to choose from!).
In no particular order:
เอก - Season Five - from KinnPorsche - I think this is my fav song from the series (I know, even more than Why Don't You Stay). I love how soft it is, the piano melody, the way it pauses at 2:01...it's just a gorgeous song.
Why Don't You Stay - Jeff Satur - from KinnPorsche - Yes, okay, since I mentioned it, i guess I'll include it here. I love it, I love him, I love the choral build up at the end.
เพราะเธอ - Jeff Satur - from The Tuxedo - And since we're talking about Jeff... I haven't seen this series but I found the track from a rabbit hole I fell into listening to his songs. This one is so beautiful and his voice goes so high, I like to sing along but I have to drop an octave to do so 😂.
คลาด (Over the Moon) - Khaotung Thanawat - from The Eclipse - I don't actually have this one in my playlist yet since it's not on spotify yet...but when it is, it will be. I think this is a great song, smooth, soft, but with great rhythm changes.
When We Were Younger - Loving Caliber - used in Bad Buddy - And now for something a bit different... This song just Gets Me. It affects me more than any of the official ost songs from the series. It's something to do with the way they used the instrumental music during the tin can scene at the end of ep 12 and that the lyrics basically relate Pat and Pran's story. I love the piano, the violins, the lyrics, and how it invokes scenes from the series in my mind.
