She’s Too Tired For This Nonsense: Or, Jen in the Devildom.
Tagging @xamassed because I can.
A loud “FUCK” echoed through the Student Council chamber as a heavily scarred woman landed flat on her front, glasses partly falling off. The first thing she recognized was voices - one in particular sounding exasperated as he lamented the fact that their ‘exchange student’ has been replaced by another for the third time now. Quickly grabbing her glasses, she somewhat roughly shoved them back onto her face as she scrambled up.
Fuckin’ hell... At least she could safely say this wasn’t your usual portal bullshit. Surrounded by a buncha dudes who gave off asshole auras, all in weird uniforms, Jen assumed she was dropped into the middle of some military compound. The uniforms were familiar enough to at least give off military vibes.
Good eye trained on the men, who all seemed to staring at her with a mix of annoyance, confusion, and resignation, she reached down and pulled the dagger she kept hidden in her boot. Iridescent with a silver handle, the blade almost looked like opal or moonstone. “Assumin’ y’all speak English, got three questions for ya: where the fuck am I, how the fuck did I get here, and who the fuck are all y’all?”
Lovely.

“Fuckin’ magic bullshit ruinin’ everythin’!” Jen grumbled to herself, raising her arm and flicking the dagger at the tree that stood several feet away. Watching as it sailed through the air and embedded itself in the trunk, she sighed. Well, at least she was still decent at throwing her blade even with her failing eyesight. Small mercies. She had finally settled in a place! Found friends! Found a calling. Keeping people safe from the creatures that stalked the night.
And now, here she was, captured by those very types of creatures and being told she had to play school. Fuck no. Fuck that. They wanted her to play high school? They’d have to drag her lifeless body and prop it up. She wasn’t going to play their game, wasn’t going to play ball. She was 32 damnit, not some giggling 14 year-old!
Just the fact that they had tried to make demands of her had pissed her off. Demon lords or no, she wouldn’t bow to anyone who hadn’t earned it. And these chucklefucks definitely hadn’t earned it.
It was going to be a trying time.

“What. The. Fuck.” Jen may be going blind, but she definitely recognized the brunette in front of her. “Sarah, and I say this lovinin’ly, but what the fuck are you doing here?” Out of the magic user she had met, Sarah was one of the few Jen could stand. If only because Daniel, sweet Daniel had adored her. Those two had been best friends, which meant she had met Sarah more than a few times, usually when she was helping Daniel with altering another dress.
Sarah, for her part, was absolutely ecstatic to see a familiar face. “Jen! Oh my god hi! It’s been forever! How’ve you been? How’s Daniel?” She went in for a hug, only to pout as a hand came up and smooshed against her face, stopping her.
“In order: yeah it has been, been better considerin’ I was just fuckin’ kidnapped, and dunno - haven’t seen him in forever. Miss ‘im, though.”
“Ooooh did you end up here when they were trying to summon the Exchange student who’s supposed to be here? That’s like the third time that’s happened, you’d think the guys would know better by now!” Sarah laughs, making Jen’s eyebrow twitch.
“Third time? Meanin’ they got you and ‘nother here?”
“Yeah! Me and this little cutie named Aya. Total sweetie. Reminds me a bit of Daniel, honestly.”
“...And you’re okay with bein’ kidnapped like this?”
“Eh, I mean it was weird at first but I kinda love it here? I love the guys and I love not havin’ to really work, so!”
“... God help me.”
