He was getting desperate now.

Six hours of constant searching and he was still no closer to find it.

Six hours of people blowing him off as crazy or avoiding his gaze when he tried to speak to them.

Six hours of failure.

His spirits were painfully low, but he couldn't back down now. Not when he'd covered the entire eastern part of the city and could find it any moment now.

So, squaring his shoulders, he marched over to a brunette and shoved the picture at her, asking the same question he'd asked everyone he'd seen today.

"Have you seen this purple and red kitten anywhere?"
