It irks me when ppl say Yuma "beated" Yuzu and Shoma at Worlds. Not to diminish Yuma's achievement, it's definitely good, but for me it's more like yes he won the silver medal, but to beat someone you have to have equal terms and that wasn't the case (be it scoring, pressure or performance among both programs) But maybe that's only me.
I am probably to hung up on wording, but the "look Yuma is better" narrative and writing especially Shoma off after one competition has me like "what?"
Btw tell me if you think I am being pointless, dramatic or wrong. We can disagree or discuss. That's just my feeling.
