UK Holiday: St Albans
Finally! The long awaited post from my trip to the UK. I have to say that as much as I love being on holiday, it was pretty tiring and I'm glad to be back! It was nice to meet my boyfriend's friends and extended family, and I've made such great friends from my trip. I love the place he grew up in, a town called St Albans, and I love Edinburgh! I'll divide the outfit pictures into a few posts, but hey let's have a look at what I wore in St Albans.
Zara cardigan, Jennifer Lilly dress, Botkier bag, Rayban sunglasses, Portmans belt. All pictures by Justin Lee.
We wandered into the city centre, going through this beautiful street named Fishpool Street with the most beautiful buildings! The weather was nice on the day we went out to the cathedral and into town and I really love UK when it's sunny! It's such a rare thing to have the sun out! I went for lunch at the oldest pub in the country called The Fighting Cocks and they have the cutest decoration as seen in the third picture. Another thing I love is how I can get a half pint instead of a schooner (a half pint works better for the size of my bladder) and I had the best ciders while I was there.
The dress I had is made by Jennifer Lilly design, whose dresses are to die for! They have simple silhouettes, but they're so comfortable and easy to accessorise. I ordered two dresses about a week before I went to the UK with a message to ask whether she would get it done in time, and she got them made and delivered within 5 days. What a great purchase! You should check out her dresses here.
I will post more outfits in the next couple of days. Hope you're enjoying the beautiful Sydney spring as much as I do!
Look: Karaoke
My friend Tash left Australia to move to UK this morning, and last night we went to karaoke to bid her farewell! We had a lot of fun being crazy, singing random songs from S Club 7 to Nirvana! I put on my new Jenniferlillydesign dress but was too distracted to take clearer pictures! Anyway bon voyage Tash!

I found the best little etsy shop.
It sells vintage-inspired dresses with the most adorable floral prints I've ever seen, all for under $40.
And guess what? Shipping from England is only $8. That's fricken ridiculous. International shipping is almost ALWAYS over $15 or so.
I'm so happy :')
