There are two sides of social media for social good. One is using your voice to tell people about things they can do, spreading the word about campaigns, but the other side is telling the story about you doing it yourself without sounding preachy or braggy. I think the inspiration side is more important; doing the things other people are scared of or just don't know what it's like. If they see you do it, they are more likely to follow. I think that's where fundamental change in the world happens and while I am all about getting people to like a Facebook page because a corporation is going to donate something, it doesn't change mindsets or behavior.
