Hey everyone, could you go to my friend's blog jenniferkitty03 please!! Today is her birthday and it would be great if she got a whole bunch of b-day wishes!! Thank you!!
What will you do once kubera ends?
I will die and then my ghost shall inhabit Currygom’s mind so that I can live happily in the Kubera Universe for all of eternity (as a handsome, wealthy, and powerful magician wwww).

I do not really expect the series to end anytime soon, but I will no doubt experience that hollow feeling that often accompanies finishing a really good book/game/series. I suspect that because Kubera was originally meant to be a novel that Currygom has a whole collection of side stories left to explore. Of course, whether or not she plans to publish anything more remains to be seen. We are lucky that the Kubera fandom is a highly dedicated one, so I might pour over fan works until I can stop mourning the webtoon’s end.
What do you like about kubera?
I cannot even begin to imagine how to reply to this because if I could I would go on for ages describing why I love this webtoon. I will try my best to answer your question succinctly and accurately although I don’t know;;; I haven’t written very much in English lately and so I must unfortunately present you with this mess instead.
One Last God Kubera was first introduced to me by someone who insisted that I read it because of the story and the fact that she believed that my resemblance to one of the characters was uncanny. I read a bit to humour her and to be honest was a bit turned off by the art style. Soon after, I became very ill and could not do very much at all. I read Kubera obsessively and had caught up with the series in a matter of days. I was a bit depressed about how my illness had interrupted my life and so reading Kubera was actually a pleasant escape.
I was, and still am, in awe of Currygom’s skills as a writer. It was said that she had originally intended to write One Last God Kubera as a novel but I am so glad that she had decided to tell the story as a webtoon instead. If she had published it as a novel, I highly doubt that it would be as likely for foreign fans to pick up on it. It would be terrible to have missed out on such a story. The characters in Kubera are so well written, in that they don’t really adhere to the typical tropes/character archetypes that most comic book and manga characters do. Each character has such a depth to them and their feelings and motivations are impossible to categorize as either “good” or “evil”. I think that the line: “There are no villains…” is one that most accurately describes the Kubera cast. I have come to know each of them and feel a sort of attachment with these characters.
I have a weakness for stories involving magic. Even though I would like to consider myself a person of science - I have always loved the idea of magic. Currygom manages to marry the two beautifully. Magic and Science are closely intertwined in the Kuberaverse. I must confess that I like to think about the sorts of calculations and scientific theories that would be required to cast spells wwwwww.
Often, when I read stories I can typically guess at the rest of the plot quite early on. Kubera has thrown me about so many times that I have almost given up on trying. You can compile a load of evidence and apply them to forumlae of reason and logic and still be off by a mile. When plot points are revealed however, I am almost always amazed at how the most subtle of hints (ie: shadow outlines, Insight, and those off-hand, now very much ironic, comments made by characters) have been sprinkled all along like little bread crumbs on a trail starting up to 100 chapters back. It feels like every word, and every single panel was allotted a vital purpose - like pieces making up an intricate machine. What I would give to be able to read through Currygom’s notes.
Some writers say that a polished story is one that need nothing added nor anything removed and One Last God Kubera fulfills this requirement in spades. I can only hope that Kubera’s readership continues to grow and that Currygom be given that recognition that she deserves.
When kubera ends, what will you do?
Cry and tell currygom that i love her
Leez, Mister wants to brush your hair.
"Tell him Never another time perhaps”.
