I have moved on to the next stage of my research and development, experimenting with video manipulation, while still incorporating image manipulation within this.
earlier in the week i had a tutorial with dale and he suggested i look at jennifer west an artist who uses film within her practice, playing around by pouring liquids and distorting the film with different materials to create this beautiful effect we see in the video, it relates to my project and i have been trying out my own experimentation, with vhs tape and i will later transfer them into mp4/dvd to edit digitally.

JENNIFER WEST.
I came across contemporary artist Jennifer West at 'The Saatchi Gallery'. I really like the way she has manipulated her photographs and I would love to be able to use this technique as I think it works very well. I love the colour ways in these images as they add depth to the images. Jennifer is known for her digitalised films that a made by hand by manipulating film celluloid. She may dip the film in perfume or alcohol to destroy or distress the film.
