Something super simple for the weekend! Happy Friday everyone!
One of my friends is having her bridal shower today, so I decided to do these cute little guys to go along with the shower! I always love an event with a theme. It's always fun to try and come up with nail ideas to match. These are super simple, but still fun! I love them. Congrats Jan!
Watercolor take two. I knew when I first tried watercoloring and it didn’t really work out that I was going to try it again soon. This time I LOVE how they ended up looking. I decided to add a little glitter and frame them to add something different. I still find framing my nails pretty stressful but I always love how they end up looking.
I got the idea for these from these nails I did a little bit ago. I really loved them and wanted to do something similar to the design on my middle finger. Pretty happy with how they turned out! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
This was my first time trying out the watercoloring technique that I have been seeing around lately. It didn't really turn out how I thought it would. I'm thinking I didn't use a big enough brush/not enough acetone, or just the colors that I used didn't have enough contrast. I still think it a really cool look and will definitely try it out again soon with some different colors! I wore it plain for about a day, but then decided it needed a little something more so I added some leopard print to it. I know leopard is kinda tired but it really can liven up your nails!
Colors used: Floss Gloss- Wavepool and Perf
This hurricane has been causing some pretty sucky weather where I live, so I did these lil guys last night to match outside. Usually when it's rainy out I like to do something bright on my nails so I guess these are a mix of both! Be safe if the storm is near you!
Colors used: China Glaze- Pelican Gray, Zoya- Robyn, Zoya- Pippa, Zoya- Paz, Orly Instant Artist- White, Black, and Yellow.
Guys, I just really love these. This was another instance of not really knowing what I was gonna do and just sitting down and playing around with stuff. I usually try to look around for inspiration, or try to copy a pattern I see on clothes but that doesn't always result in nails that I LOVE like I do these. I feel like they are kinda tribal but i feel like everyone is so sick of seeing those. Plus, I didn't pull out my dotting tool so they cant be too tribal right? Anyways, hope yall like these as much as I do! Happy Monday!
