It wasn’t Connor’s idea to get involved in a poly relationship. He liked Sage and knew Sage had feelings for both him and Caleb. So he decided to keep his mind open and see where things would take him. He doesn’t regret it. He’s not the most adventerous of the three and enjoys letting Sage take the lead in the bedroom.
♥ - family headcanon
Despite his initial reluctance to enter into a poly relationship he is very close to his husbands and all their children. He’s the strict parent in comparison to the others. The kids all know that if they really want something they don’t ask Connor first, they’ll get Sage on their side first then they have a better chance of getting Sage to convince Connor to say yes.
♦ - quirks/hobbies headcanon
This might sound odd living next to the ocean and having two merman husbands but Connor doesn’t really like the water. He knows how to swim but it’s not his favorite pasttime. He prefers being inside playing video games.
