I went to deliberately misinterpreting you island. Yeah, they're stripping your post of all nuance to get angry at you for a bad-faith reading of something that may or may not bear any resemblance to what you actually said. But now that I'm here, they've told me all about it, and it's really fucked up that you would say something like that.
I made people feel seen and heard, but when it came my turn, I was just background noise.

Prefacing this with, I don't play Minecraft, I have a bit of knowledge about it because my little sister is obsessed with it, and some of my best friends love playing it together. I have never been able to get into it, something I'm a little envious about because everyone is having so much fun with it and I just can't grasp it. But I digress, last night @iron-galliant a mutual of mine had a friend watch Searching for a World that doesn't exist, and I was like I should watch that, but it was 3 am so I went to sleep.
A good decision cause we're watching it right now and I'm like

Summary for The Werewolf
John and Brian, his boyfriend, planned a grand vacation to Granite Falls. It was a chance for the couple to unwind and bond more with each other, if that's humanly possible. Everything was going great on the vacation until the moon filled the night sky and John transformed into a werewolf.
This was a secret that John was keeping from Brian, scared that he'll either hurt his lover or maybe even worse. Just when it looks like John's nightmares are about to become a reality, the werewolf realized something while pinning down Brian and quickly runs away, scared of what he could've done as Brian stands there for a couple of seconds trying to gather his wit and quickly calls out for what he thinks is his boyfriend.
Three days pass. A massive blizzard rages on. Brian's had enough of crying. After seeking answers from Noelle, John's mother, he sets out to find the werewolf during a lull. The werewolf finds food and manages to make fire and shelter. He dwells on how wild he behaved towards Brian. But wait, what is that sound...?
Brian finds the werewolf but he isn't too pleased, putting himself in danger like this. Brian stands his ground and tries to convince the werewolf to come back; the werewolf refuses on grounds of shame. Brian is disappointed but at least he knows that he (and John) are alive and well. With that, he makes the trip back to the cabin.
Brian is caught in the blizzard returning; the beginnings of frost nip stiffens his legs. He trips and falls and he is greeted by a very large bear that sees him as prey. He doesn't have the energy to run away... a howl cuts through the air and the werewolf stands between him and the bear, and faints.
Brian wakes up back in the cabin and is startled at his boyfriend covered in blood and injured. He fears the worst but 'John' is alive thanks to his healing factor. The nurse gets to work with scrubbing the blood off and bandaging the werewolf up, making light conversation. After a dinner fit for a king, Brian can rest easy. The werewolf, however, looks on...
The werewolf and Brian discuss matters about his and John's nature. He clues Brian on searching for anything medical related; Brian assures the werewolf that he'll look for them high and low. The werewolf is glad and is sadden that this may be his one chance of being 'out. Brian reassures him that he'll talk to John. The next morning, John returns.
Months past. Brian manages to get the medical files from a mysterious singular source. He goes through them but he is horrified at what he reads and sees. John reads them as well, but he gets the sense that something terrible happened after a certain date. It turns out that John was tortured under the cover of medical research.
John has a nightmare stemming from an incident two years ago; he isn't sure if it happened or not but he is rattled by it. Brian calms John down and posits that he should 'talk' to the werewolf and free him. He adds that he saved his life by fighting a bear; he trusts him. John agrees to.
When the time comes, John talks to the wolf. The wolf is suspicious of John's intention to free him, but in the end, they call a truce. No more suppressing the urge to shift. Brian takes John to a secluded area on a cold but clear night sky. He gives him a 'see you later kiss' and watches at a distance. John struggles as he shifts, but the wolf coaches him through, emerging with a long, low howl.
The wolf is out. He is free.
